"I would never call a redneck a name" has to be my favorite -- followed by "teabagger generalize" <3 it!

Let's see if I can comment on this without the anticipated and expected Disqus censorship.

The left doesn't practice 'tolerance'. What the left practices is called 'repressive tolerance', which is a construct established by Herbert Marcuse, who was a German Jewish Philosopher and radical activist associated with the Frankfurt School of critical theory. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1934. His "intellectual concerns" were the "dehumanizing" effects of capitalism and modern technology and he spent a lot of time speaking at American universities pushing his views.

In 1965 he wrote a book called "A Critique of Pure Tolerance" in which he espoused that pure tolerance is wrong because it allows "oppressive" ideas to be allowed a voice, and instead what should be practiced by the left is "repressive tolerance". The basis of the concept varies according to whom your conversing with, but the general idea is that tolerance of left wing ideas and speech should be allowed, but intolerance of anything deemed right wing should be enforced. This, according to the left, means that all left-wing ideals are good and anything that isn't left wing is oppressive and evil ...and should be vilified. Who gets to decide what is right wing? Only the left. This allows them to proclaim "tolerance" without seeing or feeling the hypocrisy. They feel vindicated because they are oppressing "evil" and "dissenting" ideas.

This is what modern liberals practice these days. It prohibits free speech and any and all free exchange of ideas and allows them to vilify and persecute anyone who does not conform to the party ideals. Another interesting point of this that comes to my mind is that intolerance and crushing of any dissenting voice is also a key ideal of fascism. Curious, isn't it?

BTW, this is also the very foundation upon which "political correctness" is based. The phrase itself was essentially coined by Mao Zedong in his plagiarized "Little Red Book". ..."Not to have a correct political point of view is like having no soul…". How do you gain a dictatorship over a society which promotes free speech? Get control of the speech. Control through unspoken rules that society enforces through social ostracism.

This is where we're at people. Like it or not, the attempts to destroy western and European culture and have it rip itself apart as planned in the 1920's and 30's has been successful so far. The seed was planted and has taken root. Expect it to be more successful in the the days ahead.

Hello? This skit was done as irony - tongue in cheek. The responses were all scripted, just as the show did the previous week at the RNC.

In actuality, the intolerance of the tolerant party is much worse.

I't hot and humid, and that little old lady in the blue dress (and the big mouth) has a flat tire on a North Georgia winding road. Who'll stop to help her?

And therein lies one of the big differences between a Liberal and a Conservative.

Here we have the democrats doing what they do best, projecting their hatred and self-loathing on the rest of humanity all in the name of inclusion and compassion. Can you say hypocrite? Unreal!

The leftist mindset has never been interested in dissention...hence their continual efforts to silence differing viewpoints by any means necessary.

The hell you do. You don't respect anyone who dares to have a different opinion. You only "respect" those who conform to your cookie-cutter beliefs.

That was a great piece of work by the Daily Show guys. I'm going to send this around, everyone I know will see both sides of those interviews as funny. Except for the TEABa--er word, she said it cutely, but, it's still offensive.

Thanks, how could I leave "hobbits" out of the list! :-D

I said when I started I was going to get a T-shirt made with all the names on it but it has reached the point I would have to gain about 200 pounds to fit all the names. :-D

Looks like that T-shirt is going to have to be an evening dress. I recommend you wear it to the next White House party (if you can sneak in, that is).

Michael Moore probably has a shirt with all those words plus a few more, and a lot more space for even more yet.

ROFL! That would have to be pretty small lettering to fit. Good Idea, if one was the size of Michael Moore. Ah well. Excellent idea still, _mom! :-D

Wow. That was really well done. Stewart gets far more praise from conservatives than he deserves, but this bit was even poignant.

About the book by 'Mark Owen', No Easy Day, on the SEALs dispensing with OBL:

Pentagon spokesman George Little said Tuesday:

“When it comes to sensitive special operations missions, such as the operation that took down Osama bin Laden, it is important that those who are involved in such operations take care to protect sensitive and classified information,” he said.

Oh yeah? Tell that to the goons in the WH.

They're the ones responsible for killing SEALs, the author is not.

That's probably why it was okay for Obama to give the sensitive and classified information to Hollywood. He wasn't involved in the operations.

He was out golfing at the time.

This may help you understand how intelligent and educated the progressives are. The term Redneck came about when striking miners in West Virginia tried to organize and made demands through their Union Representatives. The owners locked them out and hired non union workers. The Union men went to break the mine workers lockout armed to fight. They identifie themtselves by wearing a red bandana around their necks, hence the term rednecks. If the Democrats only knew they were belittling the political brothers and sisters.

The left does not let facts get in the way of their narrative. The truth for them has always proven to be much too cumbersome.

Who coined the term "redneck" anyway?

I worked in construction and guess what, when you're a middle class construction worker you get a red neck from the sun baking you when you work outside.

Was the term coined by some Harvard elitist liberal? Sure seems like it. Party of the working man my ass!

From the article:

Though acquitted of apostasy, the Iranian pastor was found guilty of evangelizing Muslims. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment but was released because he already served this time.

I think for the safety of his family he needs to get the heck out of dodge (Iran) ASAP!
