Tonight is a huge night. The winner of the Cowboys/Redskins game tonight is definitely in the playoffs. But I have full confidence that my Cowboys will leave the Redskins wondering what happened to them at the end of the night. I predict the Cowboys win by at least 14 points. 35-21. But as long as they win, I don’t care how close it is. It airs on Sunday Night Football on NBC.

GO COWBOYS!

I'm a cowboy's fan too and am not surprised by the outcome. Our 'Boys, Scoop, have multiple personality disorder. When they are football players, they are one of the best teams in the league but half of the time they think they are ping pong players. That's what happens in big games. They forget which personality is required.

Did I mention that the Skins suck. And RGIII? I hate that guy. He is FAR to Good to play in the NFC east. I think they should trade him to an AFC team, like maybe, Batlimore.

gawd the Cowboys are such losers

Jerry, Garrett and whoever was calling the passing plays last night should all resign or be fired.

Romo in the clutch is a nightmare. He needs special coaching when the crunch comes. What does he get? Stupid fade routes which are easy for DB's and LB's to jump and intercept. Dumping off to third choice receivers is a minefield for him.

He had just made two sensational passes for TD and 2Pointer, and then these idiot coaches set him up for failure.

If you don't give him plays he excels at, or practice him so the flares and fades go to the sidelines, he will underthrow.

It's COACHING, AND NOT JUST THE QB. DON'T BLAME TONY. His weaknesses have been made by very bad coaching and game planning and play calling.

As a diehard Cowboys fan since the 60's, let me just say that "I told you so".

Romo is a whiny-butt loser and chokes regularly, Garret couldn't engineer smart plays or manage the clock if his life depended on it, Rob Ryan is a lousy defensive co-ordinator, the conditioning manager and staff are useless and Jerry Jones, although a successful businessman, is NO general manager or director of player personnel. The cowgirls will suffer until the top tier of management is replaced.

Other than that, the Cowboys seem to have bright future!

And congratulations to RG III and the Foreskins! Good game and good season!

(Always hated that team, almost as much as the Philadelphia Pigeons!)

I wonder if ESPN is still worried about whether or not RG III is a Republican? Is he still what ESPN called him, a "Cornball Brother?" What about his white girlfriend does she still matter to ESPN? Enquiring minds want to know!!!!!!

Sorry RS.....The Romo apparently is now 1-7 when it comes to "MUST" clutch wins to advance. That interception was what.....a 10 yard Hail Mary?? So disappointing. And yet, he may just still be in Dallas next year because of the all mighty $$$$. Letting him go would be costly for the wallet.....but then again, not the team.

The Redskins ought to give a game ball to Tony "No Mo". That pick with 3 min to go was poorly timed. Great catch by Rob Jackson however. Tony just can't keep his poise in the big games like RGIII can. And how about that Alfred Morris? Huh? The kid sets a new single season record for his team and is the humblest guy (next to RGIII that is) on the planet. Gee, how refreshing.

I see RGIII made it to Drudge again. Yeah there's a new Superhero in DC. And it ain't Barackus O'Dipstick.

I just got one more thing to say: HOW 'BOUT THEM REDSKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before Garrett is fired, which he better be, they need to fire EVERY trainer in the club. I have never seen a team with so many injuries in my life. Lost the whole receiving core in one stinkin night. I think Jerry has turned this team into the Chicago Cubs.

ryanomaniac

Ok Romo, that's it. I've took soooo much heat for taking up for you but no more. Done. It cant be possible that a guy could play like this every time do or die situations come around. Dallas, time to drop him.

I do feel bad for the guy a little. The media here in Dallas is gonna chew him up and it wont be pretty.

Romo is just God awful. His name should be Dumbo. He is as dumb as a door knob. A 9 year QB veteran looses to a lame rookie QB who had no turnovers compared to dumbo's 3. Cowboys fans are just tired of this sh***

He's not 'dumb', he's just not worth a dayum under pressure! Jerry Jones on the other hand?

Man it sucks my Cowboys lost, but as a football fan, watching two rookie quarterbacks RGIII vs Russell Wilson battle it out in the wild card game is gonna be fun to watch. I wouldn't like my Cowboys chances in the playoffs with all the defense injuries and now looks like with wide receivers also but hey anything could happen and still would have liked to see it but nope not this year and looks like we are at the new age of football with these rookie QBs, it's just gonna get tougher.

It breaks my heart, RS, to learn you're a cowboy's fan! This Eagles' fan will be rooting for the Redskins, because, alas, Philadelphia is finished and there is now way in heck I will ever root for the cowboys!

PhillyCon

Hear hear CH! Hopefully, this will be the end for Andy Reid. What a bust its been almost like the Republican Party.

Conservative_Hippie
Conservative_Hippie

The "Reid Era" is over. Is it just me or ever since Jimmy Johnson passed away the Eagles have been on a nose dive to the basement? Should Reid's successful years be attributed to Reid...or maybe Johnson should have been credited for most of the successes? Something to think about I guess.

PhillyCon
PhillyCon

CH:

How funny, I even mentioned Jimmie Johnson's passing to DH when the Eagles started to hit the skids. I bet if you go through the stats, your theory might be right. Their decline has been a 2-3 year cycle ... so, this isn't a surprise to those of us who follow these things closely.

The anti-McNabb crowd always pointed to the Eagles great defense for their winning.

Also, notice how many defenses around the league use the "A-gap" now. He was a strategic genius.

Eagles have "Dog Killer" for a QB...it's karma. Just sayin' :P

Spare me. What about Ray Lewis and "Rapelisberger."

I don't understand why people treat Michael Vick as they do. He went to prison for his crime. He went bankrupt in the process. And in the end they were dogs, not people. When has he paid for his crime? When do people forgive?

PhillyCon
PhillyCon

Vick didn't get away with his crime, and paid dearly for it. He was bankrupt, and barely pays his bills to this day.

As far as getting his job back, its called the market. You know something us conservatives are supposed to support? The market obviously still values Vick's footballs skills, if he wasn't any good no one would hire him, get it?

Again, for what he did to those dogs, he paid a price for it. It's called our penal and justice system. Another thing, conservatives are supposed to support. He paid his price to society. Something, that many others in the NFL who have done much worse have not (as I stated in my original post).

You are assuming that Vick will abuse children and the elderly b/c of what he did. This is something liberals do. When and if he does it again, I am sure our justice system, and/or the mobs will see to it.

BTW, I don't see anyone making Vick into hero. Your argument is full of strawmen.

SheerPolitics
SheerPolitics

That one person allegedly gets away with a crime doesn't excuse another. Yes, he did his time. Do you think WE would get back a multimillion dollar job if WE had been convicted of this? What if he had been a CEO of a company? But because he can throw a football, we reward him. We're still willing to make him a hero for kids growing up. Did you ever read what happened to those dogs? No one who's an animal lover can excuse what he did. Cruel people that abuse animals don't change and people who abuse animals are also likely to abuse helpless people: children or the elderly.

NCHokie02
NCHokie02

I agree. NFL players that commit crimes against other people get free passes. It's ok. Dogs....now thats a different story. How dare someone hurt an animal!!! The PETA in everyone jumps out.

I like Vick. Liked him at school and glad he made his way back into the NFL. I hope he is successful, as long as it's not against my Skins.

That made me LOL! oh man, that looks like something my dad would have done, except now he's quite the computer geek.

Thank you myGB. Yeah, it's weird. Back home I drove in the worst kinds of weather, I've driven thousands of miles, many times by myself and never had an accident. But now within the past 5 years, I've been in 2, both the other's faults. Thank God he hit me as he was trying to pass around me on the shoulder- the fool. He wiped out a couple of the highway markers as he did, watched him fishtail into the last one before he stopped about 40 ft past. I turned into my road, got out to look, then was going to go see if he was alright and he took off. Sigh. It could have been worse. Folks go that highway too fast. It's 60mph, but most folks go 70. It's a bad highway for accidents.

Hot looking wife. Yeah, I'll keep quiet on that one. I'd say good about the Cowboys, but I might get banned lol. When I first moved to the States, I lived in Texas for 2 and a half years and got SOOOO sick of the Cowboys. :-) I'm still too much into baseball I guess to get too excited about football.
