Wow, I can’t believe Rather would say such a thing in this political environment! And I would imagine that he won’t be labeled a racist or anything like that from our friends at MSNBC. They are so consistent and they don’t have any agendas over there.

The thing with his comment is that it not what Dan Rather thinks. It what he thinks the republicans will say. This is why the watermelon comment will be left with no challenge as racist.
