You can argue with a liberal until you are blue/red in the face and they still won't get it. It's a mind set. They just can not understand free enterprise and prosperity. To them the government is everything.
Juan says everyone needs to contribute. These socialist commie bastards make me sick. They try to make it sound like the poor are supporting the country while the rich don't pay taxes. I want to barf all over the turd in a suit.
Williams (and most of DC) doesn't get it.
We need to cut, I mean REALLY cut, spending.
How about spending LESS this year?
Try a small cut in ACTUAL spending of 2%
Dittos 'idiot'...
Sean's segments with Juan Williams are irritating.
Here's what I mean 12grace.
How about this way of describing the idiocy of the demagogic social justice do-gooders, aka, transformers... liberals... progressives... socialists... marxists... communists, who insist that class warfare is defensible... for the good of the people of course.
Juan Williams is an A+ example of what I call the 'rotten apple syndrome' because the rotten apple infects the barrel of good apples.
What that means is that erudite responses, such as David Limbaugh's in this video clip, simply are NOT effective BECAUSE the good healthy apple ideology of equality under law simply can NOT affect the rotten bad apple ideology and it's oh-so-noble human appeal to negate the individual to promote the collective 'common good' by force of law.
The rotten apple MUST be removed from the barrel.
The ideology of the idiot Karl Marx, aka the idiotology of the liberal... progressive... socialist... marxist... communist left, MUST be refuted and repudiated, aka refudiated, from the public square, argument by argument, article by article, book by book, video by video, classroom by classroom, from 1st grade to and through the PHD program.
The current Republican GOPe is not up to the task.
And definitely Speaker John Boehner has GOTTA go because he is also not up to the task.

I love the way repugnantcans STILL refuse to call out democrats for the housing collapse! They'll sit there and allow radicals to accuse Bush for 2 wars and out of control repugnantcan spending, but not once do repugnantcans ever counter with the housing bubble accusation.
Another thing is that they continue to DEFEND THE RICH! Now, you and I both know the rich aren't the problem, but from a PR PERSPECTIVE, if I were just an average uninformed voter, I would see the repugnantcans as only caring for the rich. It isn't true, but that's how repugnantcans argue their position. LIBERALS KNOW THIS, and use it to hammer them with it. In the end, liberals are able to paint the repugnantcans as only caring for the rich while appearing to marginalize the rest of us. And the average knucklehead buys it.
Sometimes what you say and how you say it goes a long way in changing perception even when you're RIGHT! Radicals are the MASTERS OF LANGUAGE --they know how to masterfully twist language to sell their lies.
Rather than focusing on the rich, repugnantcans need to argue from the point of view of the middle class. What economic issues are they concerned with and how can you articulate it to them, but most importantly, how can you CONVINCE THEM?
That's why Conservatives better connect with people than repugnantcans. Conservatives, especially of the Tea Party variety, are in tune with the average person; big government repugnantcans on the other hand haven't got the slightest clue.
repugnantcans..... I love it s9.
My company is really struggling. Not to make reasonable profits but to SURVIVE. I too am sick of this 1 or 2% talk. The repugnantcans are coming across BADLY to me as well. Maybe they are in tank for the wealthy, I really don't know what to think anymore. We are both working ourselves to death and put the 4 kids on notice that the piggy bank is closed. Conserve and squeeze every penny like we taught you because the clouds are a coming. Love your post, please keep writing.
Hi stage9, valid point. The most effective way to hang the Fannie/Freddie debacle on the Dems is to point out the number of indictments the 0bama administration DoJ AG Eric Holder issue for WS "gangsters" who perpetrated the housing travesty on the American people. The number of those WS indictments...zero. Quid pro quo...WDC & WS were in it together.
Why not hang it around the Democrats' necks where it belongs? It was Bill Clinton that started it to begin with!
I mean wall street is guilty, but not as guilty as the democrats who PUSHED THEM TO DO IT! They were the ones bellyaching about lowering rates for those who couldn't afford the loans to begin with!
But why argue about it? Just watch them yourself!

Barney Frank lies about his role in creating the housing bubble
I think a show hosted by Bill Whittle and Alfonzo Rachel would eclipse the ratings of Hannity.
why is Hannity on the air? He has his heart mostly in the right place but he is not a conservative, and he has no skills.
Watching this utter foolishness makes one beg the question...how much longer before there is civil war?
The flat federal tax is a WINNING issue for conservatives and ALL AMERICANS. The problem is who will stand up for it!
Neither Rs nor Ds will forfeit the power of the IRS. IRS knows how much you have and where the assets are located. When SS and medicare arrive at Means Testing, and they will, with the IRS federal government is provided the information that they want to adjudicate means testing. Maybe the two party system is the Rs & Ds vs thee American people.
Now we know why the IRS has bought and continues to buy ammo. They know that a war is coming!
Republicans and Democrats are the problem. Until spending is controlled and corporations start paying a fair share nothing will change! A flat federal tax will fix the problem and cutting spending. That is it! Republicans are the problem for NOT standing up to these idiots! The RNC needs to be reformed and changed with CONSERVATIVES!
This argument that our politicians have put in the forefront of all others is whether or not to extend the Bush "tax cuts". I'm so sick of this (I don't want to hear the words 'fiscal cliff' one more time). The Bush tax cuts happened in 2001 and caused tremendous growth for four years. Those tax cuts are gone now. All we are arguing about is whether we keep the status quo (which, if anybody is looking, isn't so hot) or make it even worse (tough to imagine that we could do that).
We have $16.4 trillion in debt (actually more like $87 trillion+ in unfunded liabilities), China is no longer buying our debt (no one seems to notice that), the government is still printing fake money (to the tune of $40 billion per month, with no end in sight) and the left is trying to convince the public that keeping the tax rates the same will actually help the middle class. They act like this decision will give us a "Bush tax cut" when in fact there is no cut in sight.
All this 'fiscal cliff' stuff is about is to raise the rates on people over $200,000 (which will only cover 8 days worth of deficit - where does the other 357 days worth come from, let alone reducing the already accrued debt). That would be devastating to an economy already stalled in mediocrity. Let's stop the excessive spending, shall we (that always works in my budget).
And let's start telling the truth. Investing means spending, revenue means taxes, the 'rich' already pay the lion's share, and 'fair share' is a term that liberals have no clue about. Period.
We are not a nation based upon fairness...and never have been. We are a nation based upon equality which is a far different concept and purpose.
Progressives think it is "fair" to not just give everyone the "same opportunity" but to reward them all with the "same result". So if a kid, messes around and barely gets through high school they should be admitted to an Ivy League college ( if they are a minority) even if admitting the kid that messed around pushes out a straight A non-minority student from a seat at the Ivy league college. They should ALL have the same opportunity to go to college, just NOT the same college.
And if the kid that messed around in high school decides to mess around in college and barely graduates, according to progressive ideology, that kid should be given a good job via affirmative action over college graduates that had better grades and perhaps more skills and qualifications.
I wonder where Juan would be working (after being fired at NPR) if it were not for Fox?
FOX, please send him packing ....he is nothing more than an extension of the White House
250k is a nice income and I wouldn't complain if I were making it. But, consider how hard and long a person has to work in order to earn that, especially if they own and run a business. Then consider the following: house note, car note, insurance insurance on both, fed income tax, state tax, healthcare, sending two kids to college (because of income they don't qualify for financial assistance, just loans), 401k and retirement. There are a lot more incidentals that you can add to that but those are the big ones. It really eats into the 250k. If you earn 200 million a year who cares. You still have 100 MILL to live off of. There are more in that 250 to 300 range than the super rich. I personally don't consider that as wealthy, it's well off but not rich. I heard yesterday that in Pa. a woman with two kids would be better off earning 28k then if she were earning 65k. At 28k she would qualify for all kinds of govt assistance that would make her income higher than if she actually worked and earned 65k. Most of it tax free. Sad.
Having cooked hamburgers to get through college (rent and tuition) and saved for retirement the last thirty-five years it truly pisses me off to see this skinny little shit who hasn't paid for shit his whole life tell me that I need to pay my fair share. He is about dividing this country and he is doing a hell of job.
250K is for married couples. 2 people's income.
That is the issue. This implies 125K per spouse.
Well when you're as Small Business Owner, and have about 5 employees You're closer to the 200+ K because your business gross and debt is included in your personal income tax filing. So say your Income Tax Report with your Small Business Earnings brings you to 211K and your spouse makes 40K well guess what, combined you make 251K means your RICH!!!!
Look if I was in Congress, I knew taxes will have to be raised no matter what because Obama won.
This is how I'd craft the deal. (I'd scrap the whole damn code and go with a flat/fair tax system but just trying to stay within the situation here)
Individuals making 250K a year and Couples making 500K a year- Keep Bush Tax Rates Permanent.
Individuals/Couples who's Income Tax report includes a Small Business (I guess they're called Sub-Chapter S or something.) Up to 1M a year- Bush Tax Rates Permanent.
For Capital Gains tax, I'd push for a cut by the amount Obamacare raises it in a sense, making the rate remain the same.
Death Tax- I'd increase in to 55% on estates over 10 Million, Cut it to 5% for Farmers and those making less than 250K a year.
I'd end the tax exempt status of organizations like Media Matters and Centers for American Progress.
Also I'd demand the The House Of Representatives be given a new power; "Regulatory Review" meaning any Regulations issued by the Executive Branch must receive approval from the House of Representatives in exchange for raising the debt ceiling.
Now the Italians in me rather just have this:
Lets do tax rates via how you voted/ party registration
Democrats/Socialist/Communist: 85% Income Tax rate
Republicans/Conservative/Libertarians: 15% Income Tax rate
Independent: 45% Income Tax Rate
I would cut everyone's tax rate to 10 percent. no deductions, just a simple percent on eveyone. Why? because God only asks for 10% and the federal government could do well that amount as well.
I will never understand how a supposed majority of people can believe more Government is the solution to all of the Government created problems.
Its easy, people believe what those in authority tell them, so much so that those in authority believe their own skewed actions.
Case in point I remember after the crash Barney Frank was calling for prison sentences for those involved in home loan derivatives. One week later (after the Gov nationalized Fannie and Freddie) he was asking for private participation in the purchase of the toxic loans.
So follow me here. Barney was calling it a crime for buying/selling derivatives that were not at that point known to be toxic and then turns around and wants to sell those same loans that are now known to be toxic but its okay because its the Government doing it.
Do you see through his psychosis now?
Noobody is this blnd! The powers that be want to collapse America-and Obama is their puppet as well as all of those that promote less capitalism and more socialism!
How can you substract from an income and say that an individual can grow. I make 50 dollars and the government takes 40 that means I have 10 dollars left to pay my bills. According to juan that is fair.
I can't stand watching Juan...he is such a blantant LIAR...to support this crap that this administration is putting out...it is so un-American he makes me throw up! Juan you are perpetrating this communism/marxism! Shame on you for wanting this Soviet crap for yours and my children. God help us!
Is it really important to be "fair and balanced" with communists who are hellbent on destroying our country? How'd it work out on November 6th?
While Hannity, D. Limbaugh, and all the other stooges "hammer" these Leftist propagandists, the communist in the White House continues his Sherman-like march to the sea...
If Juan Williams had a son, he'd look like Barack Obama.
Williams is very good at interrupting loudly and taking over the discussion with smoke screens and redirection. If I didn't already know the truth I might be swayed his way just by his confidence. This wasn't a debate, it was a white wash and I wish David Limbaugh hadn't been a participant in this debacle.
Sorry, I couldn't watch the entire clip because I think Juan Williams is a leftist getting paid by Fox to create controversy to increase viewership. Several years back I thought it was a shrewd move by Fox to hire Williams, but I changed my mind. That was a mistake. Send him packing to MSNBC or some other place.
Karl Rove and Dick Morris are banned from FOX News now. I think FOX should add Juan Williams, Ann Coulter, and even Sean Hannity, even THE FIVE are getting more viewers than Sean. Give his hour to Judge Jeanine...or ...
News note to Juan and pals. Taxing the "rich" is not the same as taxing the wealthy who live off investments. Let's have tax fairness. Let's enact a flat tax for all including the 49% currently not paying taxes.
Seems like Juan wants his job back at NPR.
Hey Juan...if you and your other liberal turd millionaire friends want to pay more, go for it, but leave the rest of us alone.
Its Juan's job to argue the liberal side and he is convincingly sincere. However surely he knows that he is playing dodge ball while the other two are playing golf.
Trying to cover all the problems with the tax code in a post would....would be near impossible. After all the tax code as currently written are over 60,000 pages long. The problem I have with the stance Jaun Williams has is the hidden hypocrisy in his own words. If he is saying that the rich must pay their fair share, then he is as much as telling Americans that it should cost them money for services while living in this country. Services like, military protection, police services, medical services, emergency services, and the list goes on and on. With many in the United States paying little to no taxes, these people are in essence getting all of this at reduced or no cost. When you couple this reduced or no cost benefits with added social programs like free food, free phones, free lodging, and the list goes on and on and on, you must accept one simple fact. What the federal government is doing is making hardworking individuals pay for the basic package of services, while those that either pay no taxes or very little taxes, are getting the Cadillac package pretty much for free. IMHO there is only two ways to make everyone pay their fair share, either a flat tax rate for local, state and federal, or with a sales tax divided by the three before mentioned taxing agencies.
Roger Ailes pays Juan Williams $2 million a year to propagandize for Obama, great strategy.
The left everywhere, just like Juan, are using the same hogwash to bamboozle their listeners. They always and exclusively fixate on income tax for "The Rich" only, they never talk about all the other taxes/duties/fees/sales taxes/property taxes/fuel duties people also have to pay.
They also never address the fact that the welfare recipients, and those who get a bit of their taxes back in 'tax credits', have to be supported with money which has to come from somewhere. They seem to think that sort of money grows on trees, and need not be taken into account.
Politicians, especially semi-conservative ones (RINOs, for example, but also our Tory government) are so scared of the relentless socialist propaganda in all our MSM that they talk about 'cuts', to the howls of public service unions, but never cut sufficiently.
This state of affairs will continue until the debt bubble bursts all over the world, because the majority of people everywhere, from politicians and reporters down to teachers and ordinary people, are too stupid, lazy, and indolent to even learn the difference between deficit and debt, never mind asking about how to cut down the one and reduce the other.
Righto mum, When the burden on the middle class was mentioned by Hannity, Williams laughed and quickly moved the subject to the rich, almost without notice. To the average listener this "debate" was only about the rich, and who cares if they pay more, meanwhile the average persons aren't hearing anything about how the problems that affect them are going to be dealt with. The media has zeroed in on what they want to discuss, everything else be damned.
Yep - the meejah here are doing exactly the same, even the so-called 'conservative' Daily Telegraph. Al Beeb is the worst offender, they don't even hide their socialist agenda any longer when it comes to the economy.
Of course, our politicians are generally as tongue-tied and awkward when taken on by the meejah as your lot. But there are exceptions - here's one shining example of one Tory taking on the BBC bullies and demolishing them:
I hope you'll be able to listen to the audio clip - it gave me great pleasure to listen to Mr Javid showing that lot up for the nincompoops they are. All in very polite, cut-glass English ...
I'll listen to it some time today mum, I'm looking forward to it. Some truly great speakers come from your neck of the woods, they are more experienced with what we are headed toward.
