While defensive missile systems such as iron dome and this new developmental one are good, I feel that too much reliance is being put on defensive systems. They're not perfect or able to shoot down 100% of incoming missiles all of the time. Over time, the missile firing arab and muslim terrorists could even develop ways to defeat or evade these systems.
I'd prefer to see a more offensive tact, like bombing any and all missile launching areas to smithereens, so they look like Dresden did after the WW2 RAF bombing raids.
That's great. Now they need one that will follow the missile track back to the terrorist who will then go to his paradise, known to most folks as "Hell." Just think of the great system they could have if they had an ally in North America.
This is another excellent example of both the ingenuity of Israeli scientists, and that messing with the IDF is not a good idea.
What is it with all those Jew Haters that they can never see what is so clear: that the Jews, that Israel is a force for good in this world?
Give Imam Obama time and they will get the keys to blind this missile, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbullah, Iran and the Saudi's will demand it.
Raytheon will have a big target on their back from this administration very soon.
Israel continues to support their military and funnel money into it to keep these excellent innovations coming along... mainly because they have to. Meanwhile, the new moocher-centric nation of America takes money away from key military programs and personnel in order to feed the parasites who are preying on America's very soul. With this destructive direction in this very dangerous time, I wonder who will survive longer?
Israel will outlast us because God has their back. America had the same assurance situation when we loved God more than ourselves... but that may be waning now. As long as America keeps aborting babies in the millions, continuing a war on religion, persecuting Bible-believers, embracing homosexuality and letting Atheists run amok with new repressive laws, we can't be sure anymore can we? Especially when our pResident is out of the closet and promotes these abominations.

I had an optical illusion just now. At first sight the pic (not the map above, the other one) looked like chunks of pork poking out of gun barrels.
Deployment of the Iron Dome was a watershed event in the Arab-Israeli warfare. However, it is not ultimately economical to just rely on that one defense. It is not hard to overwhelm the system with decoys. The supply lines must be interdicted. Israel has failed miserably in this regard.
Israel also know how to keep it's mouth shut. Just because we don't hear about the IDF interrupting supply lines does not mean it does not happen. It's NObama that keeps giving away national security secrets to his friend in Hollywood while he continues to spike the ball on Bin Laden as if he personally was there and took the shot and not the Brave Navy SEALs that did the work!
Well, I'm seeing on the news tonight that Israel has detected what appears to be Iranian shipments of weapons on the move. Going to Egypt and the loons in Hamas, I'm sure. Let's see, what's Obama doing today? Anybody hear from the bastion of intellect, Mrs. Rodham-Clinton lately? How about any of the GOP leadership? Anybody? tap-tap-tap....hello?

I wonder if these thingamabombs will fire without having to intercept something? Can you fire them at a missile or building still on the ground?
I'll bet they'll fire on a plane, but at a terrorist in the rain? Could you launch them from a truck, with just one serious, steel-eyed, duck? Could you hit a hack at night, or only inbound missile in outbound flight?

Well, Israel is definitely going to need it. The rockets fired from Gaza were only a dress rehersal for what's to come. Hezbollah in southern Lebanon will strike as soon as Iran tells them to. Once Iran gets its nuclear bomb, that time will come and Israel will face rockets from Gaza, Lebanon, and possibly even Egypt and Syria. I wish the Israelis a lot of luck. With Obama in the White House, they are certainly going to need it.

Just in time, too! Meanwhile, more weapons are headed to Hamas through Egypt via the tunnels. They aren't wasting any time replenishing their stockpiles.
I love the name! Excellent. I wish they didn't have to use it, but I'm glad they've got the ingenuity to make it.
