I thought this was of note as I was watching the Senate hold it’s first Tea Party Caucus meeting. As it turns out they forgot to begin the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and someone reminded DeMint after he had finished speaking (well into the meeting at this point). Instead of brushing it off, he returns to the front and stops the meeting so they can pause for the Pledge of Allegiance.
