Barack Obama is paying a huge political price among Jewish voters for his anti-Israel policies, according to a recent tracking poll conducted by Dick Morris. In 2008, Barack Obama received 78% of the Jewish vote; Morris finds he would only get 56% if the election were held today.
Frankly, that 56% still seems high to me. I’ve never understood why most Jews continue to support a President who has made it clear he has a bone to pick with Israel.
There are still other polls out there that worry me, so while I am encouraged by Morris’ findings, I’ll believe the Jewish backlash against Obama when I see it on Election Day.
