Santorum has enjoyed nothing but hostile interviews the last few months. He’s not lost his cool before, and there’s no reason to believe he would now.
- http://magnusorerar.blogspot.com Magnus A
Is Sick Rantorum too easy to make whine –his Achilles’ heel?

Have there been comments here on this site on his decision to ask Democrats to vote for him?
Romney’s a fiscal conservative, good person who’s gots brain, and will end the disaster Obama in a good way, although without perfect health care politics. (He may seem “boring” as a person, but boring ppl becomes interesting and popular when one starts to learns more about them and when they achieve their (important) goals. It’s also a better President, not an entertainer you need.)
- MiketheMarine
I remember the first Iraq war when some Navy Seals were coming up the beach and a CNN news crew hits their bright lights. The Seal in charges tells them turn out the lights or we will fire on you.
They should have mowed those @$$hats down.
- kong1967
Lol, you’re too polite. I’ll say it for you….
ASSHATS !!
- mjs_pa
I wonder how the interview would have went if both guys had been in the same room.
- WordsFailMe
If a woman gets birth control pills paid for by the taxpayer, she should be made to wear a t-shirt or a bracelet or something distinctive about her person advertising her accessibility. I mean it’s like public lands, national parks and national monuments and public bitches. They should be available for the enjoyment of citizens.
I’m getting sick of paying taxes and gettin nuttin.
- toongoon
If you have ever seen Notting Hill, there is a scene where Spike displays tee shirts, the third shirt is one that these women should wear, but the front should say “I get free birth control, see what the back says……

The radio guy is a condescending jerk!
- kong1967
He sounds an awful lot like a conservative radio talk show host. I can’t remember his name at the moment…not one of the big names, but well known.
- c4pfan
The Left always brings up social issues in legislation and then the chattering class on the Left and so-called Right then say that Santorum keeps talking about it. Just today I saw a headline that Scott Brown is fighting for women in combat & the Blunt Amendment for religious freedom being voted down. Now, what does that have to do with the economy?
- IwjwI
Nah, Santorum was talking with an LSM A$$!
- marketcomp
Rick sounds calm, reasonable, and consistent to me. You are right on Mr. Limbaugh. This guy ask the question after the call drops, which happens, and then he answers the question with his own spin. What a jerk!
- http://www.facebook.com/people/Steven-Valdez/1806887704 Steven Valdez
Where exactly is the part Santorum loses cool? Anyone? Yeah I don’t hear it either.
- toongoon
They keep saying that Santorum won’t stop talking about birth control, but who is it that won’t stop bringing it up?
And why would this idiot keep asking Santorum questions when he knew Santorum wasn’t responding after his phone went bad?
The answer to the question is no, Santorum didn’t lose his cool, he was challenged by this guy who refused to listen to his answer. The interviewer was combative.
- kong1967
When are these idiots going to get that it has nothing to do with having access to birth control. It’s about forcing everyone else to pay for it. Now if you don’t want to PAY for someone elses birth control you are against womens’ rights. Huh? I don’t want to pay for my neighbor’s porsche, so does that mean I’m against his right to drive? Idiots.
- toongoon
Excellent comparison.
- Asian_chic
Scott Sloan from Cinci Ohio radio. I went onto his fb page and the people there are nasty, ignorant bigots!!!
- kong1967
Ah, so it wasn’t who it sounded like to me after all. Thanks.
- Been_There_BT
I don’t mind if someone loses their temper, sometimes it is appropriate (I remember when Reagan said “shut up!.”) But it’s that Rick always sounds so defensive, he just lets them get to him.
- xam3991
Hey TheRightScoop maybe you could look into this and bring some light to it!!
if this is true this needs to be plastered all over the news and every website.
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/stop-the-mi-gop-corruption/ - toongoon
That’s terrible, only democraps should be able break the rules.
- Asian_chic
I get it…They just awarded Flippers 16 and 14 to Santorum. I know they are up to no good!
- Trust1TG
Is the petition only for MI voters or for all Republicans? I am upset about the way the Republican party had an illegal ‘winner take all’ vote in FL when delegates should be divided according to the vote according to the rules.
If the Republican party is going to be as LAWLESS as Democrats, I won’t vote or pay taxes until the jacuzzi has been drained and disinfected.
- librtifirst
There has been fraud going on in every state since Iowa. Romney is the GOP chosen one. The rest have had their votes and delegates stolen.
- 911Infidel
I don’t see where he lost his temper. All I’m hearing is an A-number 1 buttsteak radio host berating Rick for his personal views. Yeah S-T-F-U Mr radio host.

I just seen that Huckabee is going to have another forum on Saturday with Mitt, Rick, and Newt, the topic is: Jobs.
looking forward to that.
- Sober_Thinking
He acquits himself just fine. They fear him so they smear him.
- http://twitter.com/helensharvest helensharvest
They hate God, so they hate Santorum. Badge of honor to be smeared/hated.
- Patriot077
“Did we lose him?” That slimey creep knew that before he smeared Rick. He even said “Hmmm, kinda convenient” before he went on his last rant. What a scumbag!
- Siobhan7
I just watch something interesting on Real Catholic TV.com, and if this was already stated, I apologize in advance. Michael Voris analyzed the Michigan results and said that the only reason why Romney won was because he started the day with an approximate 100,000 vote lead because of the absentee votes that were submitted weeks before Santorum caught fire. The truth is that on the actual day of voting, Santorum in reality CRUSHED Romney and lost by just 33,000 votes. This means Rick really won the state, but of course the media and the RINO establishment will never report it that way. Now all you’re hearing is how Romney is now on a roll and that Rick is fading
- Trust1TG
The radio guy thinks like an Obamabot or a Romneybot: “people give you money, so you do what they want.”
They still lie saying Rick Santorum will make birth control illegal when what they are really concerned about is abortion – and an amendment to protect human life.
These people want the right to kill babies, even in the third term.
They want sexual freedom without any consequences or responsibility whatsoever.
They want to change society and force everyone to believe same-sex acts, orientation and same-sex marriage are healthy, happy and holy when the evidence in science research, medicine, mental health clinical practice and public health statistics and Scripture say otherwise.
- Trust1TG
Looks like the Republican Party is doing some funny business with Michigan delegates, taking one delegate away from Santorum and giving it to Romney.
This, plus their little games in FL and Iowa make the party look like the Democrats.
- Trust1TG
BTW – Newt got another endorsement today:
Thomas Sowell wants Newt for President: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2012/03/01/super_tuesday_113305.html - Juan999
The Liberal “news” media creates “news” instead of reporting it. In other words, they spin the news and just report lies. That’s why many people don’t know what’s going on in the country/world. Obama and the Democrat Party also lie all the time. Of course, the Demo Party and most of our “news” media are one and the same.
- Maxsteele
What an arse! : “Kind of convenient” “Should go get a charger or something” Amazing that they assume there is some sinister reason why Santorum’s phone lost a connection. He was articulating himself very well and definintely did not lose his cool. Seems like Santorum is recieving a Palin MSM response which means he must be doing something right to scare them so much.
- c4pfan

Two comments:
Why does Santorum even entertain the questions. A simple we’ve been over that many times check my website. Give the address & move on.
I also noticed that he is sounding more & more like Gingrich with his talking points. He must have been taking some notes.

After the Fact, Romney’s Supporters in Michigan Seemingly Rewrite the Delegate Rules Fraud in Michigan by Romney?

That’s not the only time they have changed the rules. Par for the course for these corrupt people.
- c4pfan
Yes, I agree with the comment below that the early voting is why Santorum lost MI. But, I just don’t get why it’s never said as if the early voting doesn’t matter.

Narrative people, NARRATIVE!
Can someone get a hold of Santorum and smack him upside the head?
From a previous comment-Listen to Andrew Breitbart, he has the gist of what the leftists are doing. They are
creating a narrative. It all started when Stephonaupolis began that crud. The White House and their operatives within the media apparatchik, create a narrative and that is the only thing that the MSM will ask and press. These are poll oriented and group researched. Now, I have been studying the narrative for the last three and a half years. I have taken a sabbatical during this time to understand the mindsets of the leftists in our midst. Studying their debate tactics, their lies, their plans, etc.
The left always segue away from any debate that they have no way of winning. Ever notice on certain sites, the leftist trolls will not address the topic one bit, they pull the Howard Dean pivot maneuver (look it up, he taught a class on it)? They attempt to change the subject. The way to address this is to stay on topic and point out their attempt and subversion. This is the way to deal with that tactic.
Now, to address the issue where the leftist media asks a leftist framed and false narrative like they are doing to Rick. First off, you point out the bias of the questioner and address the bias of the question. Stating that the question itself is a lie or suggesting facts that have been already proven false or not in evidence.
Number one, you cannot assume as a candidate for any office that the media is going to be fair, you have to assume they are an enemy in a debate. Nothing they present, even questions are to be considered to be fair or factual based. For about a year I joined a forum where they had debates. I stayed there and engaged in every debate contest possible. The best way to learn to debate is to debate against truths, you learn right away that to win in that situation, you have frame things the way leftists do.
These candidates may think they are smart cookies, but the problem is, they have generally dealt with honorable people. The left is NOT honorable, they will lie, they will steal, they will dig through your garbage, they will smear, etc, etc, etc. Now, I am not saying you have to go to their strategies, but you have to be aware of their strategies.
This is why for the last 2 years I have stated you have to take it to them, directly. Newt knows this, he uses their own frame of reference against them. First you show their bias and then destroy their narrative.
These folks need some damn training in Modern Political Warfare inspired by Sun Tzu by David Kramer. Still working on the book. Hoping to have it out a couple months prior to the election.
- hbnolikeee
The answer deserved is “You must be an idiot? Have you seen any public policy in all my years in government that supports your statement? You spit these poison partisan bullet points that have no basis in fact. Because I tell you how I live that means it is how I have and will govern? Are you that simple?”
And listen for the silence on the other end of that reply.
- Mombearof2
He didn’t lose his cool and furthermore it sounded like he was going through an area with no signal. The interviewer made it sound like Santorum was a loser for not charging his phone. The interviewer was acting like a maggot and yet Santorum did fine.
- http://twitter.com/nestroyat64 Johann Streit
At this point, Gingrich is the ONLY candidate that has learned the lesson of Breitbart, RIP great one, and mastered the art of shooting right back at the left-leaning media – sort of a modern version of turning the other cheek.
- http://twitter.com/PuritanD71 PuritanD71
I saw your tweet and David Limbaugh’s and checked it out and was shocked at the disingenuous title to the article, never mind the content of the clip.
What was sad was that some comments left on that page. One was from a supposed high schooler who complained that Santorum never answers questions on statements he has made. On top of that, another complains about the convenience of Rick’s cell dropping out.
If these comments are representative of our future electorate, we must act now.

By nature sheeple are dumb. And the argument that because people have donated to his campaign means they want him to put forth policies that push his beliefs in dumb. It makes no sense. George Bush didn’t do it and he was a man of great faith. I suppose all the conservatives were pissed that W didn’t put policies that forced people towards his beliefs. And as Rick said, it’s a narrative the left has drummed up to keep people afraid of Santorum. So yes the sheeple are dumb.
I’ve listened to this interview a couple of times and honestly, I never heard Santorum lose his cool at all, as Buzzfeed suggests. The interview below starts with the host bringing up the contraception issue, saying that his wife is mad at Santorum, and he wants to know how Santorum will appeal to women. Santorum responds that it is a bogus issue, one that the media has trumped up because they don’t want to discuss the economy and jobs and so forth. The host agrees, but continues to press Santorum, saying that he said it so it must be relevant, and then tries to move on to another question. And that’s when Santorum tells him to hold on, and proceeds to defend himself saying that if he should be allowed to have personal beliefs that may be different from his stands on public policy.
But he didn’t really lose his cool, he just wanted to defend himself from the charge the radio host made after having already explained that the issue is bogus. I thought he handled it quite well as he hit back at the narrative the guy was trying to create. If that is called “losing your cool”, then I hope he does it a lot more.
After that, Santorum’s cell phone dropped but the guy then proceeded to ask a question of Santorum (even though he wasn’t there) alleging that people are donating to Santorum because of his ‘contraception views’ and thus Santorum would then be obliged to legislate that into public policy. How absurd! It’s all a smear to suggest that Santorum will ‘ban contraception’ or something because people give him money. It’s just a false narrative that he media is pushing and apparently this radio host was pushing it too.
Here’s the audio:
I was reading on twitter and David Limbaugh tweeted about this a few times, noting that it was the radio host that was berating Santorum and smearing him:
Have any of you ever been the subject of a hostile radio or TV interview where the questioner distorts your position and badgers you? Well Just because you are for a certain candidate doesn’t justify your support of distortions against him. Listening to that clip frosts me. How many times are people going to keep saying Santorum would legislative his contraception views when he said he wouldn’t? Stop the slander. This radio host actually implied Santo wld seek 2 legislate his contraception views bc he is seeking contributions from ppl who’ll demand it.
