The Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Buck McKeon, sent a yes/no questionnaire to commanders in our military to find out if they gave any advice or warning to the State Department over security in Benghazi. Though he gave them 24 hours to respond, the DOD responded by saying they wouldn’t be able to comply. McKeon says this is the first time he’s ever seen the Secretary of Defense prohibit uniformed military from responding to a congressional inquiry and it flies in the face of the president’s claim that he is getting the information out to the American people as it comes in.

McKeon says that the idea that our ambassador was left with too little security just sickens him and we have a right to know what happened and how it happened.

On Judge Jeanine's Fox show tonight, three CIA experts gave information that assistance could have arrived into Benghazi quickly, that the call for help that went out from Benghazi was going out to CIA, DOD, State Dept etc. These men sound very frustrated with how the intellgence community is being treated, how the event was handled and the apparent cover-up.

I worked in military communications over 40 years ago. "Flash" messages were processed in a few minutes and probably seconds today. It is up to the commander whether to act! Our Commander chose NOT to act!!

I'm beginning to think that the whole of the Libya fiasco has been merely in order to deliver the country of Libya into the hands of the MB, or the Califate, or the control of AlQueda. That Quadaffi wouldn't play along and therefore had to be taken out. WHY was our appointed Ambassador sent to a situation that was soo risky ?????

We have treasonous people in the White House, in the Obama administration and through out the WHOLE Progressive Marxist Demoncratic Party, they are ALL destroying the U.S.A. from within.

Clearly a cover-up is going on. Regarding the "Hateful Film." If in fact the President was told that this film had some play in the events on 9/11/12, how hard would it be to backtrack this to the original source? Who, by name, told the president that the film was the cause and culprit? Who told the person who told the president? And who told the person before him? Back to the original source. This shouldn't be more than an afternoon worth of work for the DOJ. And how involved was the president's campaign in instigating this tall tale?

And lets not forget, the full force of the DOJ, using the FBI, was assigned to find the true identity of the filmmaker and hunt him down BEFORE they knew who he was, and that he may have violated some minor probation orders. Who, by name, ordered the FBI to hunt this filmmaker down, and who, to this point, was guilty of nothing more than exercising his 1st Amendment rights? These are simple questions that could be answered in a day.

Well, in all fairness, I think 24 hours isn't enough time to get this information from our military commanders who could be based all over the world. I would have given them a week. In any case, you're probably NOT going to get any useful information from them. This all has to do with the State Department. It was the State Department that turned down the request for more security. The real question is, how high in the food chain did this request go? Did it get to Hillary Clinton, let alone the president, and can you prove it? You know Hillary and the White House will just deny anything. Without direct communications to Hillary and to the White House, sadly, I don't think much is going to come of this.

Your cutting to much slack. The question is: What the heck were they even doing in Benghazi on the 911 anniversary? Libya is a post revolutionary vacummn, unstable is an understatement. How can that be overlooked knowing the kind of elements that have been operating within the borders of Libya for decades?

Why are they not responding? There's and election going on they have to hide the Administration's utter INCOMPETENCE.

The ONLY way to get a straight THE REAL story is to ARREST someone

Cut them a deal

AND proceed with an investigation which will lead to an investigation

***************************************

An ARREST will bring media attention to this situation

(I know this probably will never happen - but it's worth a try)

***************************************

ZERO again is getting away

AND John "spineless" Boehner must fish or cut bait

Boehner is a disgrace!

And then back out on the deal and try them for treason.

Like Obama's refusal to allow information on Fast & Furious to be released, due to the obvious embarrassment it would cause, Obama will never allow timely release of any intelligence on Benghazi either.

Obama failed to identify the attack at Benghazi as a terrorist attract. The first time the word terrorist attack, or act of terror appeared in his speech at the rose garden wasn't until about the 10th paragraph out of twelve. The term or word terror only appears once. In the same paragraph that Obama directly calls the act at Benghazi as a "terrible act". The only thing this imposter can do now is to continue to confuse others as best he can through innuendo and plausible deniability. What can one expect from a pig but a grunt!

Excerpt from the speech at the rose Garden and the web site as well. (10th paragraph)

http://www.forextv.com/forex-news-story/full-transcript-of-obama-s-rose-garden-speech-after-sept-11-benghazi-attack

"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done."

We need to have treason trials after this. Unless we start prosecuting those involved, they'll keep committing crimes against America.

Smitty brought this subject up the other day at Stacy McCain's site.

I think that Obama has done more damage to the office of the President than any prior officeholder. I could be wrong, since I'm no presidential historian, but I believe he is the first to threaten the the tradition of peaceful transition of power since the day Washington was relieved of command by Adams in 1797.

I know we can't begin a trial of Obama once he's out of office. I wouldn't want that, either, since true restoration will require actions that remove powers from the tops of all three branches of government, and that will be seen as treachery by the moonbat left, who would have ZERO trouble arresting a Conservative president when the tables are turned.

But Eric Holder has probably broken the law. Some folks in the chain between a dead ambassador and Obama probably should go to jail. And Obama's campaign finances should be scrutinized, and his campaign made to pay restitution for every dollar received from overseas accounts.

BUT FAR MORE IMPORTANTLY: The next four years MUST feature an attempt to rein in this sort of behavior. Penalties must be put in place so that people FEAR to participate in these unconstitutional acts. The word "scandal" ought to mean more than, "hey, you got me!" If no one has to pay for this mess, it will not only continue, it will get worse—even under Romney.

Most specifically, we need to strongly criminalize the channeling of taxpayer dollars into political campaigns, from the state level, upward. Companies, and especially officers of same, that receive government money ought to be forbidden by felony law from contributing to any candidate for the government layer responsible for those funds. (The penalty ought to be 30 years in Federal, PMITA Prison.)

And one more thing: After leaving office, Presidents should not be able to make money by criticizing the next officeholder. They can exercise their freedom of speech all they want, but they shouldn't be paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to do so by the Saudis.

It is a small thing, but do you remember the Clinton admin leaving the place ransacked for Bush when he first came in.

K-Bob

Well, it kind of stood out at the time. It was in the wake of the bitter 2000 election, and the ransacking was totally unprecidented.

Of course, it has become the precident for Obama's clown car full of sycophants to follow this time 'round.

(Mind, I doubt the Obama's themselves would participate in it.)

I thought the 'W's being pulled from the keyboards was a sophomorish prank, so I could live with that. But the Clinton's making off with White House china and other things was really a low point.

A.O. (ante Obamum), that is.

Anno Obamum, they set the bar much, much lower.

I think that sort of mischief is supposed to be monitored by the White House Chief Usher (who looks like a very experienced lady). Let's hope they maintain a professional demeanor.

This is criminal--this administration is prohibiting the facts to come out so they can spin this so Obama can be re-elected. This is a coverup for their mess ups so he can stay in office. This administration at some point must be held accountable. Placing a crook and liar in the DOJ slot, placing a tax evader as head of Finance, etc. --his whole administration look suspicious. He needs these type of people in the slots around him. Ethical people would not protect or carry out the deceit of this administration. Obama's has lived his entire life being a crook and a fraud. Now do you really want to know how I feel?

It's time for a new commercial that asks the question "What are they hiding?" the most secretive White House in recent memory. Executive price ledge used to hide the facts in the Fast & Furious scandal. Stimulus Reports have ceased and now the President has told his generals to stonewall Congress on the terrorist attack in Libya. Can you here the voice-over?

You may be right about "the most secretive White House", but the same does not apply to government in general. Government is getting more and more secretive, but Bush did more than anyone to set up that system. We now have something like 16 million documents classified per year.

I think it's obvious to anyone with a brain this is all about the election..and they say Romney is playing politics...He's been covering since day one because of the election..the timing just wasn't "OPtimal" even though it's "self evident" what all the "bumps in the road" are about..What's really happening is this obvious coverup is the end..and it will be answered with criminal investigations..When honest people take back the Whitehouse.

As far as I know Congress has subpoena power and it is time to use it. If the administration is not going to cooperate then Congress must pursue them until they do. This is too important of an issue to let go. This must be huge!
