Donald Trump came on the Mark Levin show for the first time and spent most of the interview talking about his support for the Tea Party and how Karl Rove needs to get out of the way. One of his biggest recent beefs with Rove is that he raised $400 million in the last election and didn’t win a single race, basically throwing all of that money away. He was also highly critical of his recent ad attacking Ashley Judd, saying it’s helped propel her candidacy to the forefront and it makes bother her and Obama look great.

Trumps says that Rove is one of the most overrated people in politics and if Republicans are going to win, they are going to have to break away Rove and people like him.

Trump also spoke shortly about the SOTU last night and our inept Republican leadership not being able to counter him at all.

Trump could be a goofball at times, but I love when he puts on his fighting gloves and lets the liberals have it.

ummm...except....he's letting the RIGHTIES have it....or did Rove just become a Democrat? (heaven forbid....I threw up a lil in my mouth at that thought)....LOL

Didn't Trump threaten that if the "right" GOP candidate didn't win the Republican primary, that HE would run? Now he seems lukewarm on "his" boy: Romney.

Just making an observation.

I've always loved Donald Trump. I love people that speak their minds even if I don't like what they say sometimes. He doesn't give a damn what people think of him and he wont change who he is for anyone. I loved what he did to Rosie O'Donnell. Trump is who we need negotiating deals. He is a master at it.

LMAOOOOOO...You DO realize he went BANKRUPT three times, right? But "you want him negotiating deals for "us"? Oy VEY.

Donald T. never filed bankruptcy. I know you are dying to freeze your target and beat the hell out of it. Let me move that target closer to you, see if you can hit the Bulls eye this time. Ready ...." Donald T never filed for bankruptcy " Dig that one out !

OOPS, my mistake...he's only gone bankrupt FOUR times. But, as he says "its just business" "its not me, its a company", when he screws investors out of their money.

Yeah, it's only Forbes describing his bankruptcies, so of course it's just some left-wing nutjob. LOL You people amaze me!

But yet, some dorkmunder above would like Trump to be the one "negotiating deals" for us.

And um...who's running for cover? All I see is open derision and snickering, whenever Donnie opens his maw and says something stooooopit.

Don't care much for the Donald but if he wants to be on the right side I think that's great. Really, help is help irregardless of from where it comes we need more of it.

As much as Trump may be a womanizing opportunist one thing that I do like about him is that he is not an apologist. He is not one of these wealth creators who has also become wealthy that acts like he is evil for doing so. He is proud of the fact that he is a successful business man and flaunts it. Unlike Romney who was afraid to stand up for the attacks on his success and almost apologized for it.

We need more successful people like Donald Trump, Herman Cain and Dr. Ben Carson , etc... to keep coming out and destroying this disgusting, evil, idea of Altruism.

deTocqueville1

Trump is correct. I never liked Mark's attack on Trump and while I never saw him as a serious contender I did see him as a guy trying to flush out the phonies! Romney is a phoney! Rove is the chief enabler of the phonies.

Donald Trump IS CORRECT about Rove. Karl Rove is nothing but an elitist who is now trying to keep power and destroy the TeaParty. I am a proud black TeaPartier Reagan Palin conservative and I want NOTHING to do with Rove who is now doing the work of the liberal media in bashing WE THE PEOPLE!

I should have included Ted Cruz too! He's doing the job for the people of his state!

MOST politicians go to DC and start to think we the people work for them!

Rove is one of those power hungry elites. My picks are Palin, Cruz, Allen West they have consistently been voices for the people. Thats why I'm TeaParty!

I love Cruz, he has this gift that Reagan had where he destroyed the other side's argument, and at the same time appear respectful, I pray and I hope you do the same that Washington and power doesn't change him, but so far so good for him, he has been hard at work carrying the big conservative stick since he has been in Washington. Now lets not forget Allen West, another one of my heroes.

What is it that scare the heck out of you from Palin. Is it that she is a successful business WOMAN, or her success as a State Leader, some of the things that many including you can only read and dream about. Palin got fired, Glen Beck got fired, is that why they get so rich and own their own business while many like you still suck your livelihood from government's tit. Now check them out very close, see how hard they work, you may learn a thing or two. Never know, you may be the next success story people may read about. God Bless

Many haters of hers still can't figure out why success fall on her lap, and many of these pundits are from both sides of the isle, RINOs and Liberals. They have the rest of their lives to figure that out.

I know many even here in our Scoop Home are in same lift with Sarah. God Bless you all.

I've always impressed by Trump although with other reasons. In our country issues, I've followed him close. A business big dreamer like Trump, fearless of trying anything and always seems to get a good grip of what he would put his hand into.

Trump would say something, Rinos and Liberals would run for cover ! that I like !

K-Bob
K-Bob

I know a lot of folks aren't really interested in Trump's "analysis," because he's not a reliable conservative. But think about him this way:

Guys like Trump have an empire to run. Small decisions in DC can cost them tens of millions, <snap!> just like that. Same with the idiotSage of Omaha, Warren Buffet; Steve Wynn & Sheldon Adelson; and unfortunately some mega church pastors like Rick Warren. All of them are scared to death of losing their market share. So some days they appear to be fire-breathing conservatives, and some days they sound like George W. Bush announcing "No Child Left Behind."

What to make of it?

Weathervanes.

When they sound conservative, it means they are confident they will not be punished by the government or media (in any meaningful way) for speaking out. When they sound like "progressives," it means they think they may have become too visible, and will be seen as exactly how liberals always love to paint wealthy conservatives: racist, greedy, hateful, unpatriotic, homophobic, etc.

So when Trump slams Rove, that's a pretty strong indicator that Trump feels secure saying so. In this case, A) Because the left hates Rove, anyway, and B) Because Trump can sense a movement building that will pressure the Cotton Conservatives and Rockerfeller Republicans, and Trump wants to be on the right side of that movement.

Until he decides to sound progressive again.

I'll say it again. During the debates with Obama, if Romney had brought up Benghazi, he would have won the election. Most voters didn't even know about Obama and Hillary's role in the Benghazi crisis. Obama would have brought it up, that's for sure, if the shoe would have been on the other foot.

Romney lost by 1%. He could have won by at least 5%. Conservatives are too civil with their opposition, who cheat and lie about them and plant all kinds of thoughts and words the conservatives never said or thought.

What a lost opportunity to turn things around economically.

DCTribeFan
DCTribeFan

Romney lost by 1%? Are you insane? He lost by 5%, and got freakin SHELLACKED electorally. You live in quite the bubble, dumbass.

And, Romney didn't "bring up Benghazi"? HUH? Maybe you don't recall..."Please proceed, Governor"???

And if you think blatant lies about Jeep going to China, and complete bullshit math in romneys "budget" was "civil", then I'd hate to be at your house for holiday gatherings.

I've edited three. Next one is time to dump you to the curb.

He didn't lie about Jeep. That was thoroughly debunked. You are embarrassing yourself.

1endtimes2020
1endtimes2020

I heard he lost by 1% I don't make up numbers. I never said anything about Jeep. I'm talking about the basic, everyday products people buy everyday. I didn't hear Romney say anything about Benghazi, and I was paying special attention waiting for it. When Obama said 'proceed; it was about something else. I don't lie. I am not rude to commentators on this site. If you think someone is in error, how is that interpreted as being insane? It sounds to me you're high on something as you write your diatribe to me. You don't belong on this site. You sound more like an angry lefty who can't stand the truth.

As for being civil, if you can't express yourself to me in a civil way, don't bother me.

You need to read and comply with the Comment Policy if you want to continue your denial of reality here.

Presidential elections are won by gaining electors. The post election analysis showed that if Obama had lost on the order of only 500,000 votes in key districts, the election would have been Romney's.

But you go ahead and puff up the results however it makes you feel good. He's the lamest duck President in modern times.

Well, hearing it...and READING it...are 2 different things. Obama won by FIVE MILLION VOTES. Here you go:

As for Benghazi, Romney shot himself in the foot in the 2nd debate on that topic. If you'd like, I can send you a link to WATCH it in it's entirely. Or you can Google it yourself.

It's not uncivil to point out the truth but you need a candidate that knows how and wants to do it. Romney wasn't it.

OneThinDime

I agree with you. Romney lost the election, in part, because he didn't fight with facts like Benghazi, Fast and Furious, etc. And now they are listening to the Dems, grant amnesty it will be all good. Levin and Trump are correct, the Dems are salivating at amnesty because the illegals are millions more Dem voters and the GOP base will be rightfully ticked off and will no longer support them.
