So the Senate passed ObamaCare but they couldn’t pass a budget? Remember, we’re talking over 900 days since the Senate passed a budget and that almost goes back to Obama’s inauguration. The Senate had a super-majority until Scott Brown was elected, but then they were just one vote shy of it. And yet even after that they still managed to get their financial reform bill passed as well as ObamaCare.

All lies. They just don’t want the baggage of a huge Federal budget hanging on the back of Obama going into the 2012 elections, or for that matter their backs too. It’s all about elections and they don’t want the American people to see the truth.

Because the electorate is basically STUPID and do not pay attention to anything - that is why an educated voter is the Democrats biggest enemy - why do you think they make sure the schools churn out idiots all the way through college.

The House creates the Budget - The House of Representatives have passed a budget - they have passed two budgets - Harry Reid refuses to bring either to the floor of the Senate to be voted on... The House of Representatives under Nancy Pelosi did not create a budget under Obama at all. The Senate can either pass the budget that the House passed or they write their own pass that and then they compromise on the two bills bring them together and pass that but Harry Reid doesn't want to. Obama's budget failed in the Senate no one voted Yea on his budget at all... that is how bad his budget was... they do not want America to see that they changed the base line of the budget to over a Trillion dollars a year and they do not want to scale back that is why they haven't passed a budget and keep playing the CR games so they can keep the spending the same without the public seeing the numbers in front of their faces.

Pass a budget? They wouldn't know what one is if it hit them between the eyes! These people are ding-dongs! Or, as Levin would say, fecal heads.

Exactly my point. Why this was ever changed, I don't know. If it were kept the way it was designed, the Federal Government wouldn't have grow at the pace it has and the States would have retained more of their rights. Oh how nice would that be.

This political crap that is going on in the Senate is one reason that when the branches of government were set up, the Congress and President was to be appointed by the people through an election and the Senate was to be appointed by the States. By doing this, the people would still control the legislative process and the States would have some in put as to how the laws and regulations would affect them. Now that we have all three appointed by the people we have a lot more bickering going on.

Think about this, would the Obamacare program pass the senate if the states had the opportunity to vote on this? Would they ever have voted yes knowing the additional costs that they were going to obligated to take on? No.

The Senate has not pass a budget for the simple reason that they don't want the people to realize the situation that we are in. Who is going to get the cuts? Who is going to be eliminated? Where is our money going? These answers would have to be addressed. By not passing a budget they can play more politics because they don't have to openly share and discuss any information. So much for transparency. :-P
