This is not a bad apology, actually. I get the sense that given all those he says he’s embarrassed, especially his family, that he means what he is saying. Yes, I know it’s easy to be cynical, but I actually felt a little sorry for him during this clip. Sure, what he said was reprehensible, but he admits that and sounds fairly sincere.
