Interesting comment about getting behind Christie, since all of the people could actually get behind him. Just being snarky, sorry.

You beat me to it. ;-)

As far as I'm concerned Christie is just another 'Joisy' politician.

Glad to know Christie isn't speaking and Dr Ben Carson will be!

Wont vote for Christie. I don't care who asks me to do so.

He held hands, played footsie, and smiled nice nice for the camera at a pivotal point. AND that little bit of extra helped.

Yeah, we all know that Romney was a Nambe pambie when it came to being able to hold a conservative line. BUT dang it, he was still better than the "highly offensive term for buttox" we have now.

It's sad for me to state, but Christie is a North East (NE) Republican with far greater appeal than Romney. However as I have stated numerous times, in the NE states the only Republicans that get elected to federal office have a small c- grade when measuring their conservatism ideology.

A strong conservative like former Rep. Allen West couldn't get elected to any federal office if he was running in any state in the NE. The question is whether or not conservatism can survive without the NE and help from the likes of Chris and Mitt who can raise large sums of campaign monies?

PS:

I failed to mention in my comment that I basically agree with your opinion of Christie. Let's see how long his high approval ratings are when he's campaigning for reelection. At that time, the leftist MSM will abandon him as they support the progressive Democratic candidate. Thus, those on the left who praise Christie now will make sure his approval ratings sink faster than the Titanic and he could loose his reelection bid.

That is why I don't watch this show. Verbal diarrhea. Turn off the tv.

First of all, conservatism is not the "far right".

Secondly, rinos are lefties, albeit the more moderate type. Frankly, my

opinion is that a moderate leftie's end result is the same. It just takes

longer to get there.

Therefore, there can be no compromise when dealing with conservative principles.

One either adheres to the constitution or not.

These folks are just idiots and it is embarrassing even to listen to them. I guess to work at FAUX you must now be part of the GOPe at least in your public commentary. They really are mindless. For instance, when was Greece last independently minded? The days of Solon, Pericles, etc.???

No wonder the the general populace regards these talking heads as superfluous dolts. Bolling after losing his job on the 'Business' side of FAUX clearly has learned his lesson and know which side his bread is buttered on.

Quit a contrast with Palin who left to do battle for the Country.

What is it with all of the Pudits and talking heads on FOX ? Hannity, O'Rielly, Greta now Bowling all have turned RINO and continue to sell themselves Conservative ?? We really need a Consevative News Network like MSNBC and have only conservative guests, pundits and bash the LIBS, DEMS and RINOS like MSNBC does to conservatives. That will sell big time, FOX is now RINO !!!!!!

CC isn't even in the middle anymore with the stupid antics he has demonstrated over the last year. He is to the left, and He's an idiot.

My opinion has gone south on Boling.

Bolling is just so immersed in Northeastern liberalism that he can't think straight.

CC is going NOWHERE. His ship has sailed (the SS Liberal).

Eric Bolling is wrong, how do I know this with-out a doubt? Bob Beckel agreed with him about Christie thats how. Seems to me some of Bob's stupid has rubbed off onto Eric.

The only way I'd "get behind" Chris Christie is if he had one of those beep, beep, beep, back-up alert thangamajigs installed...like delivery trucks have.

It reminds me of that famous line from the movie "300" about the Spartans and Persians at Thermopylae.

My hindquarters will blot out the sun!

Then we will vote in the shade.

Eric: We hardly knew ye. Scratch that dumb advice and get right...right now.

I can understand why he feels this way. After going through McCain and Romney walking around limp during their campaigns you long for someone, anyone that will speak up and take on the media and be able to do that aggressively and win. Christie can do that. Problem is he is a typical modern Republican. He would push modern Republican ideas. That isn't good.

I'm really looking forward to Ted Cruz doing what he's been doing. Pray to God that he doesn't get infected by the modern Republican party.

My response to Bolling: H e l l NO! I will not be backing any Republican unless he/she shows that they are not Democrat 2.0, or Liberal lamb number 2 million. Since my vote has not made an iota's difference, I'll stay home before I waste my time on watching yet another political hack rip apart this nation. I was over Fox News as of this past election cycle when they spent all that time spewing how the sky was falling and then just rolling over on election night. This RHINO crew is just irritating.

iaintlyin
iaintlyin

You hit the nail on the head. After the election it became painfully obvious that this crew (The Five) has more wieght on the left side of the fulcrum than advertised. Maybe they just seemed more right than left as compared to other news outlets but since the election I've seen too many clips of o, heard too many opinions that are left of my thinking and generally have let Beckel run rampant pushing the liberal angle of things. If fox wants me back pro'bly the best way to do it would be to give Tantaros the full hour to do and say as she pleases. I've always thought Bolling wasn't as knowledgable as he should be on many issues. He seems to know about as much as I do on some issues which is no where near enough to be in the position he is as a co-anchor. As far as the rest of them.... ah rather than go over each one individually heres the order in which I i regard the rinos on the show as being close to having strong conservative values and being knowledgable of the issues. Tantaros, Guilfoyle and Gutfeld, Bolling, Perino, Beckel (imbeckel in my house). Though Gutfeld can stray a bit too, I want him on my side.

garyinaz66

and people say fox is far right wing. yeah right if you consider elitist establishment rinos far right.

Say it ain't so Eric! OMG! Chris Christie!!! You've got to be kidding!!! NO way! I guess you probably like Jeb Bush too! Ewww! Quit listening to Dana Perino...she still listens to Karl Rove! You all just don't get it. Amazing! You need to listen to Mark Levin a lot. He will "teach" you all you need to know.

Sober_Thinking

Lol... Eric is citing Bill O'Reilly as an authority? Ugh.

Eric Bolling is flat wrong here. So is Bob Beckle (big surprise huh?).

There isn't a single chance whatsoever that I'll vote for Chris Christie in 2016.

Why do conservatives ALWAYS have to be the ones to compromise? I refuse to half step on my values and principles. If the accursed Republicans don't understand that in order to win, they need a serious conservative to lead the charge (Allen West, Ted Cruz - maybe Sarah Palin)... then they've already lost. And for the record, most in the Republican party have become acclimated to being losers. Sickening.

RefudiateGOPe
RefudiateGOPe

People need to quit talking about who our savior is going to be in 2016. If we don't take over a lot of seats in 2014, 2016 may not matter. We need to reverse course NOW. 2014 is the way to make that reversal, but we have to be smart. We can't let Dems win a seat because it's a three-way race. The I's and Conservatives must join forces to make sure the R candidate is representative of the majority voice. If it's R vs I vs D, we lose. The I's AND the Conservatives AND the Tea Party must beat the Rino in ALL of the primaries. Someone must bring the non-RINO's and the non-Liberals together and their candidates must run on fiscal conservatism and small government while not giving up their other Conservative principles. Conservative Governance and Federalism should be the platform. Personal opinion on social issues CANNOT be the issue. The candidate must be able to separate their personal opinion on social issues from their position on governance and they MUST sell social Conservatives that they are the best last hope to take back the country from the people who are trying to destroy it from within.

sDee

The primaries are key. We have to be involved NOW at the local/precinct party level.

It is easy..... call you county or state party headquarters and ask how to get involved. THESE ARE GOING ON NOW - we all need to be at our convention!!

Please, anyone here on TRS, it is very easy to become your precinct chairman or to other seat - volunteer . - most slots are unopposed!!

Once the slate of candidates is selected it is too late - the progressives are in.

NCHokie02

didn't watch the clip, but no. Glad they are already trying to pick out the runner for the next GOP Pres.-candidate, don't worry about a primary there.

Anyone need anymore reason to cancel Fox?

It is easy. Call the cable company ask for they next package down that does not include Fox News.

A good rule is: Those who align with Bush, Christie, Romney, Boehner are socialists or socialist-enablers or closet communists.

A good rule indeed. And I got flamed here when I wrote Bush W was as much as a disaster to the country as Obama.

The only difference is as far as I can tell, the left admires Obama as opposed to W.

Eric Bolling is so wrong. I will not go down that road again. I did it in 2008 and 2012. I will not put myself in the position of voting for Chris Christie or anyone else that is going to further undermine our values.

If the Republican establishment hasn't figured it out yet then come 2014 we will see how well they will do in the mid-term elections and if they can hold on to the House.

It is apparent to me that those things I thought were associated with the Republican Party in the realm of conservative principles were only a pipe dream.
