I always love when this guy speaks! He calls a spade a spade (euphamistically, of course) and tells it like it is. Too bad there aren't more in AND out of governement who will stand up for the country and her citizens.

outraged? ain't that word reserved for Sharpton and his ilk? Not quite enough (but many) minorities have had the trickle down of wealth sharing to drive a vehicle yet, hence, the lack of outrage. I'm sick of the bulk of complaints regarding oil prices being aimed at 'gas ' prices, when the hell is someone going to mention the price of heating oil?
Yes, we're outraged. But what are we supposed to do?

Americans have become stupid
The govt. has seized our natural resources as their own. They are holding us hostage from them. I hope we see the day when we can punish them for the damage they've done to us and future generations. Criminals like these should never be able to walk away and rake in millions while they leave this damage.

It's so encouraging to know there are still business minded people like John Hofmeister around. He tells the facts the way they really are.
What I like so much is that natural gas is so clean, and no enviromentalists would be taken seriously if they opposed its use. I like the millions of jobs natural gas would create.
The next important facts John gives is very dear to my heart; the money consumers in America would spend on natural gas energy would remain in America. This is huge. No more Opec prices, no more feeding them profits to buy weapons for terrorists.
Sean Hannity has provided a great service by interviewing this former CEO of Shell. I'm thinking of looking up a natural gas supplier to convert my Lincoln. Although I want to investigate www.160mpg.com/ to see if their parts would accomodate natural gas. The owner of the website said my Lincoln would get about 80mpg...so maybe it would be more with natural gas being used with his system.

Little in the media is mentioned of the monumental environmental hazards that will be generated by the larger battery units that are found in hybrid and electric cars once the cells have gone through their primary, secondary, and perhaps maybe, tertiary recycling lives. Where are these mountains of corrosive and poisonous waste materials going to go? Landfills, other countries, where? I'm in the recycling business, and few if any companies are able to recycle the ubiquitous small batteries (AA, NiCad, Lithium, etc.) right now; how much larger of a fire are we jumping into with this electric and hybrid car thing?
Oh, and what about all the carbon credits wasted to be able to earn the extra money to pay for that overpriced, enviro-image, cheesemobile.
EnvironMentals also conveniently ignore where that electricity comes from for their cheesy overpriced cars. Transmission losses alone to get that electricity from the unrefined fuel burning power plant to their cute little charging stations cause more environmental damage than just putting gasoline right in the car!
I can't stand our cowardly media anymore. All they care about is racking in commercial money. They will sell their souls for just one more commercial. You know the commercials---the thing they call a 'break'. They would never inform Americans about real 'breaking news', or have John Hofmeister explain and broadcast reality to the people on the air.
Wasn't there a post by Scoop about the guy who "invented" the electric car lamenting that electric is NOT the answer? I believe it was fairly recent.

The problem isn't that we need to be outraged. The problem is we need justice to be administered, but our government is being run by a well-organized crime syndicate! Everyone's on the take on both sides! The "justice department" which is responsible for the enforcement of the law and administration of justice has itself become a criminal enterprise!
And when JUSTICE cannot be administered, when the very government which was established to protect them becomes corrupt and complicit in political crime, then the people have no recourse of action. They become slaves.

Announce we are going to drill for oil everywhere it is in the U.S. with the goal of energy independence by 2020 and watch oil/gas prices fall overnight. Lower gas prices will stimulate our economy.

Natural gas for cars and trucks is another example of how the DC globalists have hidden their Agenda in plain sight.
Internal combustion gasoline engines can easily be modified with different fuel tanks and some minor modifications to the fuel injection hardware/software. Engine life is increased, GoreHouse gas emissions lowered and maintenance costs reduced.
Refueling infrastructure (gas lines) already exists in tens of millions of homes, business and commercial locations.
Yet instead our political class transfers hundred of billions of dollars from our pockets to their puppet masters to squander on hydrogen fuel (Bush2) and on batteries and electric cars (Hussein).
Uzbekistan and other former Soviet countries use both benzine (gasoline) & natural gas in tgheir cars and have been for decades...

Makes perfect sense to normal human beings. However, our government is full of abnormal, illogical buffoons. It is obvious that Zero and his administration, along with many useless idiots in Congress, don't want us to be prosperous. They don't want economic recovery. They really don't want energy independence. They want misery, suffering, and oppression for us "common" folk. All they want for themselves is money, power, and prestige. They are all low-life, disgusting filth disguised as "caring" and "intelligent" human beings.
And the technology required to run a vehicle on natural gas has existed for a long time.I remember when the public transit systems in large cities began converting buses to run on natural gas back in the eighties.
I can remember a friend of my dad converting his pickup to natural gas back in the early 70's. He loved it!
During WWII, we were running cars on coal, wood or whatever created a fire, I've seen plenty of them but was too young to be curious to find out what made them tick.
...and the technology to run cars on natural gas is not new. I can remember a This Old House episode from 10-15 years ago where they had a short segment on how a subcontractor they were using at the time ran his vehicles on natural gas and I have always remembered it because it seemed like such a great idea to me.
I have wondered why this form of car fueling is not pursued and I bet the reason is politics and payoffs.
It's just like the fuel injection technology. It was around and perfected years before the automakers put them in our vehicles. They had too much money tied up in carbuerator production equipment to switch.
