This is clearly something that should be addressed with a charge of contempt of Congress. In fact, Jackson-Lee should be warned that her clearly deliberate attempt at obstructing the investigatory deposition could result in her being censured, likewise charged with contempt of Congress, or both.
Holder, like many liberal elitists, seems to believe that his half-assed excuse for cooperation is "unprecedented" and some sort of imposition. Clearly, he believes that the Justice Department should have some sort of 'executive privilege' shield that they can use to hold between themselves and accountability. What he's trying to do is game the system, and his game is called "running out the clock". He's hoping Congress will lose interest, feeling unable to get past his stonewalling, or that the media will come to his rescue by burying anything that comes out of this in the bottom section of the evening society page. Issa may be doing fairly well, but he's just tapdancing and fan dancing around the point, and he needs to make that point very plain, loud and clear:

That means that I'm thinking you're being voted 'most likely to be Buba's new roommate'. I think you'll be more popular in prison, than Michael Jackson; and that's BEFORE we extradite you to Mexico."
The lying is so blatant its stink fills my house...this is a man who needs to be on the other side of jail cell...corruptions its self is embarrassed to be associated with this criminal pig...
The Tea Party has been resting. Watching OWS stink up the public square. Biding time until someone in leadership kick-starts the strike back against the phenomenal lies of this Administration. Waiting for domeone who doesn't sound like they are taking nail clippers to the edges of Congressional rules of vote timing and head-counting.
Heading into the primary votes, and every day until November 6, 2012, we need people to keep on the attack against the lies, the abuse of power, and the creation of phony "law" via executive fiat and judicial ruling.
Congress, you should be angry that your Constitutional role has been neutered.
Step up, and step hard. The people need you.
I hope this Committee goes after this bunch just as hard as the Committee went after Nixon and his bunch of crooks.

What's the ongoing investigation that may be causing him to withhold documents? Could it be the investigation into how Fast & Furious was "botched"? I hope this stuff comes out and people are prosecuted. How is undermining the Constitution and arming your enemies against your own country not treason?
I was wondering the same exact thing. As soon as he said that, I immediately asked "What could POSSIBLY be more important than this investigation?" Time to subpoena the I.G. and ask her how many documents SHE has that pertains to this investigation. Then, we can at least SEE how many documents are being withheld, and rest assured knowing she has all the GOOD (bad) stuff. And when Holder is cleared by her, we can subpoena the I.G., and if we find that she is also complicit in this coverup, put her AND Holder in prison.

This is the best kind of controversy, because it drags on and on. That makes for good drama, and it keeps the issue in front of people. I have to assume that in the White House, they are just trying to figure out the best possible timing for Holder to "step down." I suspect that if this wasn't dragging on so long, he would have been gone already.
