Good, solid, public servants are coming out of the woodwork, they will find much support in the coming months and years .. Everyday American want a voice, we will find many as OB goes for broke.
When Clinton was impeached, they let him stay in office. He couldn't do anything domestically speaking, but still commanded the armed forces. That is less than ideal in this day and age with Zero, but it could keep any gun bans and regulatory tyranny at bay.
At least some put the country and constitution over their career and worry about news media lynching.
The members of the House need to get a spine and finally stop this dictatorship. It's shameful.
I read alot of people on here that think congress has no balls. Well, I read where most Americans did not want to go over the cliff. I contacted my congressmen and I told them, please lets go over the cliff and do not let Obama do what we all know he will do. We all have to let the government know how we feel and what we think, and the polls said to make a deal and do not go over the cliff, so most voted like the polls said the people wanted. Bashing congress is what Obama wants. How about a little support and voice that you do not want to them to deal with Obama, and for them to just so no. We have to stay united and not let the democrats or Obama divide any of us.
I appreciate the one or two people who speak this way, but honestly I don't believe any of it. Until I actually see the GOP as a party DO something other than threaten, I will continue to remain an Independent and I will continue to pursue moving into a third party as conservatives. They lost me completely - it will take a whole bunch of action to ever get me back now.
I am a progressive and I agree that impeachment is in order when a President acts contrary to the Constitution he is first and foremost sworn to uphold. These current efforts to limit, ban and usurp the 2nd amendment are such grounds for impeachment.
The rifle I have lawfully owned since the end of the first Gulf War is now "prohibited" by closed door dealings in my NY state. There is not one thing in these "prevention measures" that if in place before Sandy Hook would have prevented or moderated any of the awful outcomes there.
I agree with the Congessman and commend him on his clarity on this issue. The attempts must not pass the Congress. There needs to be a Federal law affirming ownership rights and over writing more draconian state law restrictions in order to recognize and protect the Constitution.
I am former military service. The purpose of owning efficient arms is to protect myself, my family and this country and its democracy from those who would take that away for their own purposes, be they foreign or domestic.
The overwhelming majority of US Citizens are self regulating, law abiding persons who do not need to be controled by the government. I know assault rifles are scary looking to many. I know they are NOT battlefield weapons, no one would go to war so poorly armed.
I can assure all that there is no difference between the feeling of the bullet that comes out of the nice wood hunting rifle and the assault rifle when it hits you. Both are equally designed for killing.
We have a national economy to fix!! THere is no place for this opportunistic political theatre at this point in time, or ever.
I plan to switch political party over this hijack of our rights.

The problem is that O would have to really screw up badly for the Dems and MSM to get on that wagon.

One question: What would impeaching Obama actually do?
Bill Clinton was impeached. I don't recall it actually affecting him in the slightest. In fact, I think most people don't even realize he was impeached. Why do we think impeaching Obama will be any different?
It may not right away. The Senate has the power to remove him from office. There are several reasons to impeach him and remove him from office. Do it one Constitutional case at a time. He knows why this could be his downfall, but he was willing to take the chance. He thinks we are all stupid, not just his constituency. He's an arrogant POS and some how, some where he will get his justice.
Bill Clinton's license to practice law was removed, but not permanently. His only means of support was running his mouth. He certainly isn't a pauper as he has been well paid, but there is always the knowledge that he was the second American President to be impeached and it was for lying. I know there are some that believe him, but to this day I don't. Or Hillary for that matter.
From my perch here in Canada, I see many reasons for impeachment and treason. Barky Boy is playing the Teflon card, knowing he has a Democratic Senate who will not impeach and a bunch of gutless RINOS too scared of their own shadows to speak out. He is surrounded by minions and henchmen to do his dirty work. As for treason-it's up to greater minds than mine to know the reasons, procedures, and on and on and on.
As for Bubba Clintoon - while the impeachment didn't stick, he was impeached. It left a stain (!!!) on his presidency. The politicians of the time had the courage of their convictions to go ahead and do this albeit, for something that today, would not be considered serious at all...lying.
I could cite the many reasons here to impeach Barky Boy, but I think we all have a good idea of the why's and wherefores, it's just a matter of putting the procedures in motion and having politicians who have the courage to stand up to tyranny.
So, as I read about Obama's speech, he wants doctors to divulge patient sanity to prevent some patients from owning/possessing a gun.
I have stated here several times to those fellow veterans of mine to be careful about applying for PTSD benefits through the VA. Maybe I am wrong, but the best treatment I ever received (and my brother before me) was a loving, caring family, and a desire to get back in the "world". It will be interesting to see if this president imposes on the VA for names of PTSD vets to further his agenda of disarming America.

Why talk about impeachment - why not go ahead? Now?
They should just go ahead with the impeachment articles now, they are going to be needing them soon. And he's already committed enough crimes that not only should he be removed. He should be indicted, tried and sent to prison.
On another subject is anyone else experiencing this latest stupidity from Microsoft where if you were stupid enough to "try" Windows 8 (and then found out they wouldn't let you go back to Windows 7) - now the "trial period" has expired they have made the Nazi-Fascist move of installing malware on your computer that makes it re-boot every two hours until you agree to pay them (even if you don't want it and would prefer to go back to Windows 7)? I would be interested in knowing if anyone else is experiencing this, or if you agreed to "try" Windows 8 last year. After this I think that Microsoft should just adopt the swastika as their trademark and be done with it.
The drumbeats for impeachment are getting louder as conservative politicians are waking up, albeit somewhat late.
Let's hope they have the courage of their convictions to say what they mean and mean what they say and impeach the Bbas***d!!!
I hope it isn't too late. I don't think there is a single politician up there in DC that even understands what fighting Obama can do for each of their careers. Just do the right thing and you will be adored and even have your re-election coffers expand. This is why they were elected in the first place----to stop Obama. We're dying out here and they just sit there. Cudos to Stockton, Radel, and even Rand Paul.

Heck, he approved of the murder of defenseless beings in the womb while he was sort of a state senator in Illinois. Maybe we can make that retroactive in his case?
We didn't have to lose them. You are right, the Congress did nothing to stop him. They just let it happen. One side did because they agree with it. The other side didn't bother to stop him because they are afraid. They should be afraid of us, but they aren't.
Spot on - they are not afraid of their constituents, that's why they don't and won't do anything.
All prayers are anwered in God's time, not ours, but I've seen enough of the worst of man to know that those answer do ALWAYS come. Maybe not as quickly or brutally as we'd prefer but that's why God runs this show.

Biden has the same problem as Obama. He's always wrong, but can't get away with it all the time as Obama does. You could probably make the case for a Biden impeachment, too.
Next in line would be Speaker of the House I believe. Let`s see....what`s that guy`s name ??????????
I agree that he would not be anywhere as skilled a propagandist. He also is not too bright, so he would get himself in trouble at ever turn.
