Thank God that baby is alright! You just know that some moronic, mean spirited lib dropped him down there. Only haters do something like that.
Oh my, that baby is maybe 2-3 wks old. They are so prone to dehyrdration at that age, it's a miracle he survived 3 days in there. Been there, done that with the dropper/bottle feeding. My little bottle baby lived almost 16 yrs. This kitten reminds me a lot of him at that age. Just precious!
I will have to look for it on the internet to see it, but if they don't hold back on the bi-partisan culture of corruption and crony capitalism in D.C., then it should be a good watch.

Glad they managed to get the little fella out. Now I want to find the a-hole that put the kitten into the statue and put HIM into the statue... And leave him there. I hate people that are cruel to animals.
A 3 week old kitten has a mother and siblings somewhere, I hope they checked out the statue closely.
That almost has to be the case if there isn't a momma kitty wandering around close, someplace.
I think that fireman should have looked around inside that statue a little longer. Probably bags and bags of "lost" ballots in there with the kitty...

I think the mother probably gave birth or put it in there and didn't make it back or was scared by all the people.

We took in four wild kitties many years ago. They were born in the bushes down by the river. They remained outdoor cats, and we never had mice.
She was found on the 4th of July 2 years ago on the other road, in a tire. I fed her with an eye dropper and she curled up and fell asleep on my John Deere hat. I love this kitty girl, but even though I'm the one who feeds her and takes care of her... she always sucks up to the boys lol. Ah well. We haven't had a mouse (a live one anyway) in the past year now. :-)
Many men love cats. Everytime my husband sees a stray cat he wants to take it home with us - and we usually do - most often by a humane trap. Saved many kitties in the past 30 years and continue to do so.
I am thinking about getting two, so that they have company when I am not home.
I suppose that I don't really care about the ridicule. If they are good mousers, I can claim to have manly cats.

Some cats are just expert mousers, even though all cats generally will chase them. The best mousers have large ears and large eyes. Our best mouser, Scout (so called because she was the first kitten in her litter to explore new territory) once sprinted across our big yard to take down a bird that had just taken off. Snatched it right out of mid-air, she did.
I could use a good mouser, but I am afraid of the of the ridicule for being a single guy with a cat. :)
Such a sweet story. I call my hubby fuzzybutt on the good days...otherwise I have another descriptive. (We seriously had a cat named Fuzzbutt...weird)
