Fort Hood victim enjoyed first Thanksgiving with family

We don’t hear enough about those who survived the Fort Hood massacre perpetrated by Islamist Nidal Malik Hasan. In this case it’s about Army Specialist Matthew Cook who survived 5 bullet wounds and many surgeries to enjoy his first Thanksgiving with his family since the massacre. His mom said that she never thought he would make it, but as Cook explains, he feels that God saved him and he now is simply grateful to be with is family.
