Fox News is now blocking ‘therightscoop’ in the embedding code of their videos!

Seems like the Arab Money they took is paying off. Lets hope FOX doesn't shift to the likes of MSNBC

Yes, the Javascript does block you: Basically if "therightscoop" is in the domain name, it returns +1 which is greater than 0, and procedes to do nothing.

If no "therightscoop" is found in the domain name, it returns -1 (< 0) and procedes to write the embed code.

You should be able to get around their javascript by just manually putting the embed code into your post. Try copy/pasting the html into your post:

<iframe src="http://video.foxnews.com/v/video-embed.html?video_id=4096274&w=400&h=249" width="400" height="249" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

I think I found a different way around it. So I'm embedding the code they supply and they can't complain about that. ha!

I also realized I could embed the code like that manually. I do find it interesting that they chose to block me though from embedding their clips that they supply. I've never heard of that happening before.

Why not just watch Beck at the fox news site? You have to sit through commercials but whats wrong with that? they own the content right?

Fox is going after YouTube uploads, the used to encourage it. Lately they have gone all out to get everything off. I am hearing from the inside that it's not Fox it's the cable companies who were complaigning that everything on Fox is available on the web there is no need for people to have cable. Fox is also putting a stop to Web Live streams which until recently were everywhere. You can now hardley find a Fosnews live stream on the web.

I got screwed with this to today, YouTube took down my channel with over 400 clips which were embedded all over the place.

yeah i think they are on a rampage. They even contacted my hosting provider and I've got 7 days to comply.

Oh My! Is this about the Beck stuff or thier clips in general? What do they want you to comply with they've shut down your channel what else do they want?

How do other networks like MSNBC show clips of the show? Also, I thought that if an elected official is on that it becomes public, or am I completely wrong about that? This wouldn't apply to every show I realize.

If fox news was so objectionable to you posting these videos here don't you think they would've done this a VERY long time ago?? It's not like you were hiding or anything. We found this site very easily looking for a way to watch GBS from youtube. I bet that prick who you said ratted on you is some libtard with an ax to grind. He "watches it here too"...baaahh yeah right!

There is a chance that Fox actually was concerned about some of the people posting with the videos.

Today, I have come across other sites that stream Glenn Beck, some of which even have ads (which suggests they are making a profit off of Becks show), but none of them have 'comments' sections.

Jordan- I see you found my site. Believe me- I'm not making a profit. I put the ads up to help with the costs of hosting the website. I barely make enough money at my real job to keep the internet turned on..so I wanted to try and make some extra revenue. I started doing this to provide a service to those who can't afford cable/satellite (and there are a lot of them these days)-and for those folks in other countries who do not have access to FNC programming. Those people are starving for any kind of truth right now. I get on average 5-10 e-mails everyday from people all around the world who are thankful for any chance to watch Fox News..and a GOOD majority of them are U.S. troops stationed overseas. Believe me, I don't make a profit. We're talking pennies every day..I'm lucky to make 10$ a week in ad revenue-but the ads are there to help with the cost of the site ($14.99 a month) plus the video service I just purchased from Vimeo ($9.99 a month)- and not to mention the 2-3 hours a day I spend cutting/uploading videos to YouTube/Vimeo..and just maintaining the site altogether..I have spent a lot of time on that site, and consider it my way of making a difference in all this mess.. But I don't suppose any of that matters anymore.. I'm sure the site will be down soon enough as it is.

Well, I found another site without ads, but if the ad revenue is gonna help you out...then I say let Scoop give us YOUR site to go to.

I wish I knew how to tape the show because I would but I do not have DVR or a camera to use. This sucks I really wanted to watch Glenn today now I have to wait until I go over to my father's to watch it on his DVR.
