Fox News LLC and the Glenn Beck Show Part II

Ok everyone.

I’ve put a lot of thought into this, but can only come to one conclusion: that I must stop posting the Glenn Beck Show or Stossel. They are now actively monitoring this site thanks to Schubert and are removing from youtube any of their videos I post, no matter who uploaded it to youtube, no matter how short. And because they are not watching my every move, they will probably just chase me around anywhere I go.

It’s their content, so it’s their decision. And Schubert’s, of course. Thanks for that buddy.

There are other places that post the Glenn Beck Show, and I hope you find them. If I mention it here I’m sure Fox News will take them down too.

I will continue to post everything else I have been posting, so I hope you don’t leave.

Sorry about all of this. You’ve got Schubert to thank.

    Sorry buddy. Of course I'll stick around. I enjoy your commentary and it's become one of my daily visits, not just for the shows.

    Hopefully Schubert will get a life and devote his time to emailing his congressman about Obama instead of emailing Fox about you.

    Can you still post clips from the radio show? I don't know how fair use works.

    I don't think it'll be a problem. Beck's business, Mercury Radio Arts, doesn't seem to have a problem with people publishing his content.

    Let's be fair to Fox, they are producing these great shows when no one else would. And all networks are the same way about this kind of stuff right now.

    I have cable. I even set my TV timer to come on at 5 when Beck's show starts so it will contribute to his ratings. But I don't have DVR and I can't watch it live so I have to find other ways.

    Schubert is just a guy who likes to rain on other people's parade. It's pathetic.

    Just watched the program. The guy talked alot and said nothing. Beck said he was “Sorry that he wasted our time”. Glenn did not waste it the Congressman did.
    I'll keep watching and cheering Glenn on.

    2 things.. and maybe a little more:

    First, don't be dishearted about not being able to link back to FOX. I don't have cable and you were the first and only source who was on this via Cubachi. I'm a fan.

    I will help distribute RS et al on Twitter. :)

    Second, you did nothing wrong with copying the content. Bloggers do it all the time to disseminate information, progressive or conservative.

    It's called Freedom of the Press and Free Speech.

    Sherbert (think smelly-shoe sherbert) basically played the Obama/FCC censorship card, as did FOX.

    You know Obama's been trying to all sorts of whack-a-doo w/ harnessing the internet with copyright laws, etc. Snowe intro'd a bill to establish an Office Of The National Cybersecurity Advisor and even leftist Mother Jones asked “Should Obama Control the Internet?” .. don't be fooled w/ this latest news about his encouraging internet freedom over in Iran and China. It's a smokescreen while he begins to block conservatives from gaining the internet foothold that launched him into office.

    By censoring you, Fox (and Stinky-Shoe Sherbert) is playing Obama's cards, and rather than have someone with one of those “Yank 'Em” canes standing within earshot of Glenn's soundstage, they're trying to censor on the backend — targeting you in the process. There should have been more of a scripted accountability with Glenn.

    Glenn's a bit of a loose canon (“You don’t know what i’m going to do tonight. You don’t know what he’s going to do tonight… that's faaaaascinating!”), and while it comes across as charming and endearing and sprite-like, these sort of whims are damaging the conservative cause.

    I mean, look! He's put Fox in a position where they're janking vids when they should be encouraging the spread of the conservative message!

    Solution: a 7-second delay like they have on radio. Maybe 30 seconds with a rewind button.

    Anyway, sorry to rant. I'm posting this on a blog and referencing you guys. This is an important story that needs to get out. I may not be a gateway, but I can help.

    Fox is ridiculous and we have a right to say so (you suck).

    RS, you're awesome and on top of your game.

    Stay that way.
