In Obamacare, there is a surprise legal prohibition that a lot of people think was put in there at the last moment by Sen. Harry Reid, that says, in effect, that gun owners will not be made to register guns. Pundits suggest that this was put in to the legislation so the NRA wouldn't cause problems with the passage of the law.
Obama's actions make perfect sense to me. The bottom line is, Obama doesn't think we need any guns and will not rest until there is total gun control just like there is in Europe. Obama's goal in life was to transform the United States into a European-style welfare state, and Europe has perhaps some of the strictest gun laws in the world. Few people can even own guns, let alone have lots of them. THAT is what Obama is pining for in this country. Always remember his comment in 2008 that Americans "Bitterly cling to their guns and religion." For a sick jerk that has no respect for either of those things and can't wait to see them go away, these new laws he unilaterally enacted make perfect sense.

Today, I learned on sun news network that Cuba is allowing selected Cubans to travel to the U.S. as refugees. The average income in Cuba is $19.00 per month. When they arrive in Florida, they know where to go to apply for assistance and receive $1,000. per month,tax free, which is returned to Cuba. Billions of dollars have already been paid in this scam. Why does Obama allow this? Well, he's friends with the Cuban communists.

In NH when I recently went to the Doctor for a routine physical, they asked if we had guns in the home on the questionnaire they ask you to fill out. This has already been started. I advise everyone to respond no.

Glad you brought it up, just sent 26 letters to VA Senators to prevent Agenda21 from local or partial implementation or any local from accepting Agenda21 monies. Not nearly enough public awarness on Agenda21. Reality is Agenda 21 is as dangerous to America as Obuma, maybe even more, if you could believe that.

What the Government IS NOT telling you is.....Every Veteran Hospital and Outpatient Clinic is ALREADY doing this. For ANY routine check up, they are ALREADY asking if you "own a weapon" OR "do you have any weapons in your household"
Its ALREADY happening and Obamacare will only expand on Government Healthcare. They are using the same system for ALL Veterans.
I guess the people I see at the VA didn't get that memo????????? I have been in that system for 13 years, regularly visit 6 different departments in VA hospital plus my primary at the local clinic and in three different States. Never been asked about guns.
I went to a Chiropractor for an adjustment and "Do you own a gun or does anyone in your household own a gun" was a question I had to answer on the form. I asked him, if He owned a gun and could he be trusted as a doctor when owning such a dangerous weapon. He became indignant - and I said I felt the same way and tore up the form and left.
They have to target the Veterans because the Veterans have the knowledge and skill to stop the gov't from overtaking the American people.

Yes or no. If the Newtown killer had only a pistol or rifle, and not an assault weapon, would a few of the 26 people he murdered been able to escape? If even one person had escaped, isn't that reason enough to ban assault weapons? Isn't every life precious?
Hera's a few facts. Adam Lanza stole from his mother's safe, 4 hand guns and an AR-15. He left the AR-15 in his vehicle where it was found by Police unused. He used the 4 hand guns to kill 26 innocents. Personally, I blame President Carter for making it so hard for the mentally deficent to get the help they need so badly.
Yes Kal, EVERY life is precious ! If someone picks up a rock or a stick and hits someone else with it, that item has become an assault weapon. If the person being assaulted also has a rock or a stick, then that person has a chance to defend themselves. There is a saying we were taught during childhood: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me". Laws are words and a criminal mindset is what it is. I believe everyone has the right and duty to arm themselves in defense of aggression and tyranny to the best of their ability. That is how this Great Nation was founded and it is OUR duty to preserve it INTACT for those to come. Peace be with you.
If only we removed cars from people there would be no fatal accidents, same for knives. If we did away with electricity there would be no electric fires in homes. If we would just pass more laws - everyone would be safe and at the same time a prisoner. An assult like weapon is not an automatic military weapon.

I say ban fire! What good has it done? Thousands of innocent men, women, and children are injured and killed because of fire. If only fire could be controlled, then we wouldn't have so many senseless deaths as a result. We need a set of laws to ban certain types of fire and control how one uses fire in our society. We need a registry to track all of those who purchase and possess matches, lighters, rubbing sticks, and anything else used to make, ignite, or start a fire. We need to require all who seek to use fire to carry permits. We need mandatory fire ignition safety courses. If you don't have a fire permit and you start a fire, you may go to jail. We need to keep matches, lighters, and other sources of fire ignition out of the hands of the mentally ill and unstable. Gas ranges should be prohibited. Gas furnaces should be outlawed. Gas water heaters should be replaced with electric water heaters. Sterno cans should be locked up and only purchased by those with fire permits. Let's all make this country a safe, hermetically-sealed utopia devoid of evil. Let's pass sensible, reasonable fire control legislation! Who's with me? Anyone? Anyone at all?

He did use handguns - not the AR 15. The fellow in China used a knife on 20 some kids. Now what do we ban? Rocks? Baseball bats?
First of all he did not have an "assault weapon", the longarm that was removed from the trunk of his car (captured on video) was a shotgun. The rifle he had was purported to be a Bushmaster XM-15 rifle, in addition to two handguns. Where you aware that before this deeply disturbed and likely over medicated young man killed his Mother and stole her firearms, he tried to purchase firearms five different times, was turned down by insta-check each time? Yet the BATFE failed to act and could have prevented this tragedy. A simple phone call to local authorities would have been all it took.
What is really sickening is people like you dancing in the blood of children to further your political agenda. Where were you when firearms "walked" by the BATFE were found at the murder scenes of a US Border Patrol agent, a DEA agent, a Mexican Beauty Queen as well at a Birthday Party turned massacre? I'd wager you weren't out calling to disband the BATFE or, for holding those in authority over it responsible.

First ,No every life isn't precious.Especially not to the President.He's had no remorse for Fast and Furious nor for the circle jerk he was doing while our Libyan Ambassador was being raped and beaten to death. Now I ask your bleeding heart: Hundreds died of Fast & Furious, did you feel those lives are less precious than the children's? How precious were the lives of the students at Kent State in "68, who were murdered by their own National Guard for dessenting. Our leaders are always ambitious Fools!
There is no such thing as an assult weapon until it is used in an assult. And that weapon could be anything from words to nuclear weapons. To answer your question, no one can know what might have happened. It is just as likely more could have been killed as less could have been killed. How many would have been killed if the Police had arrives sooner, how many more if later...its a circle jerk. But if either of the first two school officials that confronted this killer had been trained in confronting such an invasion and immediately gotten a gun or guns, it is likely there would have been only one dead, the perpetrator.
I believe EVERY life is precious. Obama does not. He is the most pro-abortion president EVER! IF one of those administrators at Newtown had been armed and prepared, we wouldn't be looking at the graves of 20 children! What if there WAS an armed guard at the school and posted as such. The event might never have happened.
