I know a person who earns over $130,000 who recently began receiving social security. When I questioned this person about this, the statement was made "I'm going to get as much as I can for as long as I can."
This attitude is pervasive amongst otherwise intelligent honorable people. For this reason, I believe the threat to America's future lies is my neighbor, such as this person, who plan to take and take and take because they believe they have a right to it.
