ENVY AND THE ANTI-CAPITALISTIC MENTALITY
The enemies of pure, laissez-faire capitalism --- a politico-economic model which has never been tried --- are adept at laying the shortcomings of government policy [statism] at the feet of capitalism.
And the more frequent, abject and complete the failure of these statist policies, the more urgently they demand more of the same.
But Austrian School [capitalist] economist Murray Rothbard argued that if our goal is the Benthamite "greatest good for the greatest number," then it is necessary to adopt laissez faire capitalism.
Is it true that there are unequal success rates among human beings --- and therefore unequal rewards in the free market? Sure!
My body mechanic [my doctor] and my auto mechanic both make more money than I do --- but of course I would not recommend that you hire me to remove your appendix or fix your car --- unless you're pretty much tired of living.

The Democrats have this "enemies list" --- denominated in epithets aimed at the people whose wallets they wish to hijack and take up residence inside. You can be a “Racist!” and you can be a “Terrorist!” and you can be a “Dictator” and you can be a “Hostage-taker!” and you can “Wear a tinfoil hat!” and you can be a “Homophobe!” and you can be a “Teabagger!” --- a homosexual man taking his partner’s scrotum into his mouth. You can be “Selfish!” and you can be a “Wacko!” and you can be a “Hick!” and you can be a “Rube!” and you can be “Uneducated” and you can be an “Extremist!” You can be a “Right-wing-nut!” and you can be “Mentally Ill” and you can be “Deranged!” and you can be a “Flake!” and you can be a “Warmonger!” and you can be "Unenlightened!" and you can be a “FatCat!” and you can be a “Nazi!” and you can be a “Fascist!” --- although no one more closely approaches the precise description of “Nazi!” or “Fascist!” than the usual Democrat propagandist --- either official, or self-appointed.
Lies, after all, are the heart and soul and the sword and shield of the Democrat party.
So all you have to do to occupy multiple epithets on the Democrats’ enemies list is to insist that they take their hands off yourself, off your wallet, off your property, off your kids, off your diet, off your healthcare, off your household appliances, off your car, off your bank account, off your weapons of self-defense, off your liberty, and off your freedom of speech. Insist on all these good things - and that qualifies you to be spat upon by nasty, mean-spirited scum --- by The Friends of All Mankind --- by a gang of lying, thieving, dope-smoking, pill-popping, coke-snorting, sticky-fingered, bloodsxcking, tax-eating, gun-stealing, predatory humanitarian hoodlums, thugs and gangsters --- by the Democrat party, in other words. No political party in the history of America more profoundly deserves absolute and outright destruction.
THE AGE OF OHBUMMER
OhBummer is a b00b and a fool for attacking the American Tea Partiers. Heck, he thought that he had all of us hoodwinked, hornswoggled, and bamboozled. He’s annoyed that the Tea Partiers are not grateful to him for hijacking the American healthcare system --- the greatest act of vandalism perpetrated upon the American people since a gang of jihadi frootloops and loonytoons hijacked some planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center towers --- and the Pentagon, and made a failed attempt to crash into the White House --- and instead drilled a hole in a Pennsylvania farm thanks to some very courageous American passengers.
And --- now widely seen for what he is --- the president presents a problem for the Democrat-captured media. They pump out his propaganda for him --- and, like the opinion monitors in Ayn Rand’s novel, “Atlas Shrugged” --- they are dodging brickbats and rotten vegetables.
He’s pompous, pampered, and pretentious --- a pseudo-intellectual fop. He’s a glorified, smooth-lyin’ dandy, and slicker than Sick Willie Clinton. He’s a dictator-on-the-make, a bloodsxcking, predatory humanitarian thug, and a low-down skunk.
He’s a fraud and a swindler. He lies when he inhales and he lies when he exhales; his oxygen is the falsification of reality. He lies, placidly and laconically, as if deception were a soporific drug.
He’s a friend of the poor and the downtrodden --- indeed, you can hear the milk of human kindness sloshing around inside of him when he walks.
He declares himself the post-racial leader --- “Let me be clear!” he intones --- and he hides behind his race, daring his critics to put their reputation for fairness at risk.
He pauses to ponder the portent of his propaganda --- and it is fakery; he smiles and his mendacity comes shining through. Shake hands with Barak Hushpuppy OhBummer --- “The Mistake of ‘08” --- the illegal alien squatter in the White House until his “papers” have been lab-tested for age and chemicals, etc --- the community organizer of the OhBummer Wrecking Crew, the Fleabagger-in-Chief, the King of The Republic of Lies --- and America’s first and last Arab president. Now count your fingers.

The Heritage Foundation's Guide shows how the First Congress in 1790 provided that "the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond the sea or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born." This was our first naturalization statute (1 Stat. 104). This Congress contained many Members, notably James Madison himself, who had just framed the Constitution in Philadelphia.

Not at all. I just have the stunning ability to read and understand the straightforward phrase "subject to the jurisdiction thereof". You should try it sometime, if you can ever find your way out of that cornfield full of straw men you're occupying.
Well, he was wrong on one point. Obama did address our energy resources, he did not allow us to use them.
Ginsurgh should be impeached for her outright claim that the US Constitution is NOT the best. She let out a claim that has NEVER been uttered before by someone that their entire job is to interpret the US Constitution!

m_j_s did you watch this Unbelievable Marco Rubio Speech? This has to be the most inspiring speech I have seen in a very long time. No one has articulated this nation’s exceptionalism like this since Reagan. This man is amazing and a leader that can inspire the entire world. Allen West is still my hero but Rubio has an amazing gift of American Passion and setting the record straight. It has been far too long since we have heard the message of American Exceptionalism with the passion Mr. Rubio had here in this speech. There had to be many standing ovations that the camera couldn't capture. This is one of the best speeches I have ever seen in my lifetime. Rubio will be President, no doubt about it.
Oh good fucking Christ, give it up. I disagree with the 14th amendment as it is currently interpreted in the courts on many counts, but Rubio was born here to parents who were legally residing in the US. He's a natural born citizen and thus eligible for the presidency. You've taken a possibly legitimate doubt about Obama and turned it into a pedantic crusade against common sense.

In Florida we keep hearing Charlie Crist's name mentioned. Charlie Crist is not even close as Great Americans Rubio and Allen West are valuable to Florida and the USA. Rubio rocked CPAC.
By my estimation, Rubio will finish his term as Senator which will be up in 2016... if the Republicans win this election cycle then he will not run in 2016 because we will have an incumbant running for re-election. Then he will have two years between 2016 and 2018 which will be the Florida gubernatorial race. During those two years he may rerun for the Senate or take an brief ambassorship to a prominent foreign country, bolstering his foreign policy creds. Then in 2018, he will become the Governor of Florida for four years which will put him at the year 2022. Then he can run for re-election in Florida and then by 2024 he will run for and be the unstoppable candidate for the presidency we will have ever seen (since Eisenhower). Any alternative road to the White House will have required him to either run as a Vice Presidential candiate or to have run against a sitting incumbant. By the way, if this is the path he takes he will have been a dually elected Governor of Florida (first to win the presidency form this State) and a fromer U.S. Senator with a possible ambassorship in between. Furthermore, he will have been one of the most celebrated Conservtives this generation has ever known, and the day he takes the oath of office he will only be at age 53.
When he retires from the presidency at the age of 61, Conservatives will have its best spokesman since Reagan, whose presence and voice will be remain (if the Lord so chooses) for another approx. 30 years, taking us into the year 2062 with a leader who will continue to be a guide in the fight for Conservtivism for the next several generations.
**Note: the year 2020 would be the next soonest date he could run, but this projection is based on a Republican winning this cycle, being popular and winning re-election, and then in 2020 having whoever wins the Vice Presidency this cycle running for the presidency. At this point, Rubio could accept to be the Vice Presidential candidate (depending on who the candidate is) or hold out to the following election in 2024... also, assuming that the Vice Presidential candidate is potentially not a good presidential candidate and is projected to lose, in which case, he would be wise to wait a cycle and then create a powerhouse ticket for the 2024 race.
Not to take anything away from a great speech, but, Sarah Palin will no doubt knock it out of the park. Just her presence alone will make everyone forget what Senator Rubio was talking about. Rubio needs to stay in the Senate, and if we take over the majority, he needs to be considered for a leadership position in the Senate where he can be most effective.

I think it is important to remember everyone makes mistakes; I try not to judge so harshly. I do understand that we have to pick our candidate wisely and we have to look at their actions as well as what they say to do so. I like Rubio but I love West far more.
I love him and would gladly vote for him for POTUS. Some bring up the issue of Rubio not being eligible because his is not a natural born citizen. I was alive when John Kennedy gave his inaugural address and when he spoke in Berlin; I listened as President Reagan challenged the Soviets to tear down their tyrannical wall -- and for the last 26 minutes I listened as you challenged Americans everywhere to remember who they are and what they stand for. Romney was one of the first big names to endorse Rubio when he entered the primary against Charlie Christ. I think he was paying back a favor. That sort of thing matters to some people.

The SCOTUS ruled 100 years ago that "natural born" is defined as having been born on American soil (or American military base) to two parents who are US citizens at the time of the subject's birth.
Rubio (and possibly Obama) may be native born citizens - ie, born in the US. The Constitution specifies natural born, though - ie, a child of two citizens. One word can make a big difference.
If both of his parents were U.S. citizens at the time of his birth (Unlike the current illegal occupier of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.), then he very well could be. I would proudly support him.
For God's sake Marco, lead us and quit talking. This country can't wait four more years.
Rubio is so clear and concise on what America is all about. We need Rubio now and not in four years. He's ready. His message is a call to action, I hope he answers his own call and joins the race for President. The stakes are very high, as he ended his speech, "this is our chance to change the world for the better." Let's change it with you, Marco Rubio, as our President in 2012.
Yes he was a co-sponsor of the SOPA/PIPA mess. Just because he is charismatic and says the right things doesn't cut it. We have one of those. Watch what they do.
I am sorry, but you are so wrong. You are wrong for two reasons.
1) The media/left know he is a threat, not because of what he can become, but because he is Hispanic and the media/left will fight tooth and nail to not lose that voting block.
2) This is the most important. Conservatism wins every single time when you can articulate it for everyone to understand. Rubio does this better than any person since Reagan.
