Mitt Romney gave a short but appropriate speech on this 236th Independence Day noting how grateful we are that our founders recognized that “the citizen is the sovereign and the government is the servant”. He also praised the sacrifices of our fighting men and women around the world saying that it inspires him and gives him confidence that our future will be bright.
