Gay Marriage dealt a crushing blow in North Carolina

NC’s constitutional marriage amendment passed last night by a margin of 22 points: 61% – 39%. In fact only 4 counties out of 100 ended up voting against the amendment, indicating very strong support for it.

I was one of the ones who voted for the amendment but I wasn’t expecting it to pass by such a large margin. It’s kinda of exciting to know that even though the state went blue in 2008, we still have conservative principles.
