General Colin Powell vs Lt. Col. Allen West on compromise

This morning I happened to turn on the TV and I heard Colin Powell talking about how we need to compromise to get things done. This just after he as praising Obama’s handling of the economy yesterday. It’s like he’s been asleep for at least the past 3 and a half years. The Democrats want to exacerbate our debt and deficit problem, not shrink it. How do you compromise with someone who is trying to spend your country into bankruptcy?
