Glenn Beck tells establishment Republicans like Trent Lott, Mitt Romney, and Scott Brown to beware of the Tea Party, because it stands against the establishment, not for it. He says we need more people like Jim Demint, not Trent Lott.

I'm hope GB keeps pointing stuff like this out because it will help keep the tea party people from getting too close to a politician.

I still believe the tea party should never endorse a candidate because along with that will come all political baggage of a politician which should not be judged by their words, but only by their actions. And the group should only keep informed and their people informed so that they can make the right choice for their local, state, and national representatives.

We breed these guys at the local level, which is why it may take some time to get some people in through the system that believe in the Constitution and in their oaths since too many have not helped create the kind of politician we need, and instead helped create an environment where a lot of scum politicians are in it only for themselves.

I hope the GOP doesn't keep this mindset and go with the establishment types just because they may feel that it's their turn.

I'll bet if a politician had the facts and a real understanding of the Constitution as Napolitano shows he has in the clip TRS posted earlier the people would respond very well to that common sense. All they need is the ability and political tact to get their ideas across convincingly- Some of our choices just will not do, but I'm not sure we can find someone that has awareness of current issues, knowledge of American history, believes in the Constitution above government, and can articulate them all. I would sacrifice political experience for a someone with the above qualities so long as there would executive experience.

    Now we know…

Remember when Senator Trent Lott refused to accept the sensible conclusion of the House of Representatives who persuasively and convincingly convicted President Clinton of “high” Crimes and Misdemeanors because of his grand jury perjury?

Whether it was a minor sex and deceit related perjury or a major perjury (…pick a “major” perjury card… any major perjury card), it was still a constitutional “high” Crime and Misdemeanor… 'cause the House of Representatives said so… THAT is the intent of the constitution.

Well, after Sen. Lott, the Majority Leader at the time caved to the Democrats, I wondered why?

Now we know… he liked being a member of the exclusive “in crowd” club.

Make a lotta dough as a lobbyist, Lott… but it will NEVER buy you the respect of the “country folk”… who write the history books.
