If Palin really had been picked on about that NK remark, I could sympathize some. But her odious and dishonest "A Thanksgiving Message to All 57 States (!)" is well described by Sully at http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2010/11/why-america-wont-buy-palinism.html ). Palin's message starts with a pastiche of Obama gaffes (real AFAICT) and then claims she did it to defend herself from the media/lib bloggers etc. making a big deal of her NK gaffe. Well, no they didn't. Then she claims she referred to SK a few times before and then corrected herself. No, I looked over the transcript at Beck's (http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/196/48554/) and both claims are false. Others referred to the Koreas first, and when she make that mistake - in that paragraph, her first mention of Koreas and only NK which led up to the gaffe. Then Stu corrected her. So she lied about how it went.
And it's a tacky way to respond anyway, just to rag on Obama instead of complaining how dumb it would be to pick on her. Then the supreme tastelessness of making that a *Thanksgiving Day* message of all things. This is trashy, can you see this? Also, see the grotesque comment section of the FB note: typically people reveling in how she sticks it to libs, fights for Christian and patriotic values (despite being so manifestly unstatesmanlike and unchristian.)

oh come on!!! I heard the interview and she doesn't correct herself about North Korea, Beck does. She doesn't have a clue about world affairs, she's proved it many, many times.
Actually it was Stu who corrected her, but it was clearly a slip up and if you think it's indicative that she knows nothing about world affairs, then lets apply the same measure to Obama who said he'd traveled to 57 states and still had 2 to go. He doesn't know anything about this country!!!
If you had bothered to listen to the rest of the interview, he adds that Hawaii and Alaska were not on his agenda....It is soooooo easy to leave out words in an interview to make it sound the way you want it to.. to furthur your agenda... It baffles me how people will take the media as word, and not reseaarch anything. Take some time to get the facts right, and then decide who you want to vote for... be smart and not lazy....

Obviously, I would have been even more impressed if the media showed some consistency on this issue. Unfortunately, it seems they couldn’t resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline. The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us.
If the media had bothered to actually listen to all of my remarks on Glenn Beck’s radio show, they would have noticed that I refer to South Korea as our ally throughout, that I corrected myself seconds after my slip-of-the-tongue, and that I made it abundantly clear that pressure should be put on China to restrict energy exports to the North Korean regime. The media could even have done due diligence and checked my previous statements on the subject, which have always been consistent, and in fact even ahead of the curve. But why let the facts get in the way of a good story? (And for that matter, why not just make up stories out of thin air – like the totally false hard news story which has run for three days now reporting that I lobbied the producers of “Dancing with the Stars” to cast a former Senate candidate on their show. That lie is further clear proof that the media completely makes things up without doing even rudimentary fact-checking.)
Which is precisely why we can't do this two times in a row...I do think Sarah might be good presence as the head of the RNC-she is a natural cheerleader!
Also, you don't know the effect she could have on the establishment by being head of it-she might be able to really hold people's feet to the fire!
This is the most meaningless interview or blather that i have heard in along time.

If this nation doesn't get beyond stupidity, and intellectually dishonest partisanship our position and roll in the world will continue to deteriorate.

People should carefully read the transcripts of what Palin actually says in public.

Glenn says that Frank Capra was bashed by Hollywood for his movie themes. I wouldn't call 6 Oscar nominations and 3 Oscar wins for best director "bashing". I heard this interview. I liked the lighthearted back and forth. I live listening to Dennis on the Tune-in Radio app on my Evo 4G.
Dennis Miller had a fun talk with Sarah today, too. She said "We wouldn't have a pot to piss in," and he called her "dame" a lot.
