This raises a question of style with Beck. Personally I think he rachets it up a bit much at times. Besides proving information, he's also an entertainer who knows how to get ratings and ratings matter for his personal success.
The danger is that he'll drum up enough anger to set off some crazies against him or maybe against some politician.
I think he should cool down his style a bit.

rs – I can't thank you enough for making this availalbe. All day long I have felt worried for our children's future, defeated and hopeless about this countries state of affairs and then I here Glenn's clip. It was as if he was in my mind. This could not have been better timing. I have felt for a long time that someone was going to try to silence him, he has become the voice of truth and a real threat. I thought I was being paranoid. Thank you again I wish I could keep this clip as a reminder for next time.

Calling in as a psychic could have been cover, “I have a feeling something is going to happen to you,” is one step away from, “You have such lovely children. It would be a shame is something happened to them.”
Or it could have been someone who knew someone was going to do something and cover from the crazy person should they have gotten away with it or didn't follow through. “You told!”

The Right Scoop on March 17th, 2010 in Uncategorized | 13 CommentsIn my opinion this is one of Beck’s best monologues in a while. He tells the story of a psychic calling in ahead of time saying that someone was going to attempt to shoot him on stage last night and the gun was already in the building. He got vested up and went out on stage anyway, knowing full well that his life could be on the line.
I’m sure this is fairly common among ultra famous types of his caliber, but that doesn’t make his story any less compelling. What brought the story home was the fact that his wife was there and she had to bid him good luck knowing full well what he was going out to face. That can’t be an easy thing to do.
