The Democrats LOVE this issue and wish it would come up more often. Every time a Member of the TeaParty or GOP starts in with the Birther argument, Liberals giggle with glee because if is one of the few issues on which Dems seem sane and rational.

That goes a long way to making him a natural born citizen. All these arguments about his lack of documentation were good questions to ask before he became a nominee, but at that point, it all changed into a distraction. Either Hillary's presidential team couldn't make the argument or just didn't or nobody wanted to hear it. The debate is over on this one. - Gilimi
I agree with rickj63, this is akin to beating a dead horse. What is done is done. We need to continue to focus on the injustices and fraudulent practices of the government at hand.

The 'birther' question could be a big brer rabbit trap. My (non lawyer) understanding, B's mother was not old enough to bestow natural citizenship. If he was born in Hawaii, he is a natural born citizen even if his father was not a citizen. Also if he applied for scholarship funding claiming to be a foreigner he committed fraud, but those records are also sealed. There are a lot of unanswered questions, however I suspect that many of these concerns are red herrings. Complain loud enough and he releases his legal birth certificate (not a certificate of live birth). If he does that, all the other 'questions' truly become tin hat fodder.
I would hope that one state will require proof this time around. - Jojode
rickj63 – I've thought the same thing but all the arguments from the birthers never considers anything about her and only about his father and that he was raised in Indonesia for a time and so forth. His mother no doubt was born in the US and was a citizen born to US citizens herslef so why do they still doubt that would make him a citizen.

Glenn could not have been clearer that no matter what question he had he was not going to take up that fight. Boyle was starting to irratate me. And what do you think about the very last second when he was obviously asking someone else about what they thought? - sagrzmnky
Saying that Glenn will betray conservatives and is not to be trusted, is a comment that only comes from someone that either doesn't listen to Glenn, or seems to think that the republican party and the conservative movement are one in the same. Will Glenn betray the republican party? How can he when he is not a republican? He will vote for the person that is the true conservative no matter if there is an “R” a “D” or an “I” next to their name. Does that goe against conservatives? No. Does that go against republicans? Yes if thet republicans keep turning towards socialism.

Is it sane or logical to spend 1 . 7 million dollars to suppress information , unless you have something to hide , but that is just the liberial mentality speaking anyhow !

The Right Scoop on March 17th, 2010 in Uncategorized | 9 CommentsYou know that I’m sympathetic to the Birther movement, noting that Birthers for the most part are nothing like Truthers. But talk about a topic that won’t die.
Peter Boyles challenges a reluctant Beck in a radio interview over the Birther movement and won’t give up until the interview is almost over. Despite his perseverance, Beck maintains this isn’t a winnable argument and I must say that I agree with Beck on this one.
You should definitely listen to the entire interview as it gets fairly combative at times even though Boyle and Beck are friends.
