Glenn Beck has read almost all the coverage of the 8/28 rally in the news. While he’s glad it’s in the news, he says the MSM completely missed the actual message of the rally and he exposes what they did cover here:

True to form tonight, Mark Levin used his monologue to attack Glenn Beck. He opened with how the tea party will save America, but how the founders didn’t divorce belief in God from politics, “not for one day.” That we give honor to God through politics. All true and good points, but a mischaracterization of Beck, who trust in God while engaging in the arena of politics. So, what is Levin talking about with this new “angle” on Beck? Why must he taint what, for millions, was a wonderful event? Shame on you Mark Levin, and shame on you, too, Hannity (who studiously avoided the remotest mention of this weekend’s happenings on his show today). I find this right-wing infighting troubling. But let’s call it as it is. When it comes to Beck, Hannity and Levin are just being jerks. I believe they’re motivated by a belief that Beck is a “loose cannon” because he’ll criticize the GOP (remember their reaction to his CPAC speech? And yet, the Republicans have since been as lame as ever, not standing up sufficiently to the Kagan nomination, for example), they are also (possibly) motivated to criticize him because he’s so successful, and perhaps there is a bit of professional jealousy within them.

I personally can’t stand the infighting. It utterly confounds me that these top notch radio/tv personalities don’t back each other up. It’s like they’re jealous or something. Think of the power we’d have if they would all come together and support each other. We’d have so much power if they did that. What jerks they all can be when they behave in such a boorish fashion.

I’m looking for the one that won’t tear the other one down and so far only Glenn comes to mind.

rightscoop….hope you don’;t mind one more statement before staying on ‘issue.
I want to share that Dennis Prager talked about the event and gave high gratitude for it. He was pointing out about all the ‘white people’ comments that were made regarding the event. Does CBS ever say how many white people come to left leaning agenda? Opera? Concerts? NO, but because this is conservative, the media bents over backwards with the words. Also Laura Ingram talked positive about the event.

I see genius both sublime and divine. For those who wanted to rail, who NEEDED an outlet… their narrative is collapsing upon itself, and they are left with no one to blame. As they watch their hated enemy succeed… they are stuck with the an equivalent of Al Capone’s Vault. Well, that and the realization that somehow the reviled Beck succeeds without a shard of bigotry. The subliminal message: the Progressive media & politicians are liars.

loved the part about the ‘fly-over’, but wished he would have elaborated on the difficulty on getting military to give gun salutes and such…the geese fly over from God would be a bit more appreciated.
Thank God we have the beginning of bringing HIM back in the front door.
Alleiluah,,,and Lord have Mercy….thank You thank you thank you

I loved the fly over….that was great.

I was a little worried about bad things happening at the event too, not buy our side but the other side.

I’m extremely glad that it turned out as good as it did…:)

“Sharp” Al is getting better at his rhetoric- he has repeated over and over again that Beck did not do what he said he was going to do, which, according to Al was talk about social justice. it’s a lie from Al, but he has learned that if you repeat a lie enough some will believe it- He probably got that from his mentor, the King of Soul, but he only now is beginning to perfect it.
    The fly-over was quite amazing.

Good recap of the event, but that same format is also what the critics ar using to beat Beck up saying that all he did on his show today was repeat the words of the event and “not much else.”
I saw it as a cool down phase and a moment of persepective. I am liking Beck more and more. Except for the racist apology: I do believe, in the very least, Obama is motivated by racial issues and his own intolerance based on lifting “his” people. We moved from a racist society into a classist society through the 70′s and 80′s. But I’m not so sure we are progressing much now. There is more polarization now, but maybe that’s a good thing; more division will hopelfully make others open their eyes.

I read Levin very differently- I thought Levin said a lot in what he didn’t directly say. His monologue included saying that we all have our place in this fight- that we brign different talents to the fight. I believe, based on the history of Beck/Levin, Levin’s monologue was a come=together speech, in Levin’s “special” way.
