In all honesty, this whole episode struck me as a:
1. “Quick! Let's state clearly that WE (FW, TPP, 9/12, whatever that other one was) ARE GOOD GUYS… THAT GET ALONG… AND DENOUNCE RACISM” (good!).
2. “…and TPexpress… AIN'T!!!” (don't know whether it “is” or “ain't”. But the woman DID CLEARLY DENOUNCE the man/statements in question. A little long and late in coming? Yes. But repentance IS repentance, Glenn. If TPE has NOT truly done that… then EXPOSE ~like you've done so thoroughly and RIGHTLY with the likes of VJones, VJarret, TIDES, etc., etc., etc.~ with documentation, RECENT video/since his removal, and not a sour-apple face at the end of a phone call, with adoring agreement nodding all around you. That ain't how YOU do the RIGHT THING, remember?).
No substance.
No inspiration points OR moments.
…for me, this was the FIRST wasted “Founders' Friday” ~ and what a waste.
NOTE: I am not a “member” of ANY of these groups, and I LOVE what GB has/is doing for we, The PEOPLE, and this Republic (rekindling knowledge and passion for our founding, the Constitution, our FULL, TRUE History, exposing the machine and machinations of the enemies of our nation, etc., etc.).
But when he does nothing more than “break wind in church”… I ain't about to call it a great solo.

I've got to agree with some of the other comments about this particular show. I think it would have been appropriate to have had some representative of the Tea Party Express on the show versus a phone call? Didn't convey very well, and I thought it presented disunity versus unity. Now if the round table would have had a TPE representative and their responses didn't match up, then I think it would be justified to state that the other members disassociate themselves from this group. As it is, I think it gives the left and the MSM an open door for criticism, and does leave the appearance of some form of bias (racism-whatever), and that is precisely what we do not want them to get their hands on.
Also, would have much preferred a “Founders Friday” instead of a round table discussion on the non-racist stance of the Tea Party. Seemed more like an apologetic or justification/propaganda type of show. I guess that's ok, just missed my history lesson though : )
We'll gladly give Glenn a “mulligan” on this episode!

After this congressional stint, there is no way I am supporting a Democrat (except for one) because they have said one thing but completely done another. Republicans are the only party I'm voting for in 2010 and 2012

I thought something similar about Beck's “sorry, but” comment to the Tea Party Express lady after she spoke on the phone from Alaska.
Sure, the TPE leadership tolerated the uncouth comments by the former TPE chairman, but they did finally excise him from leadership of the TPE. So, maybe there is even more in background that Beck was alluding to.
Personally, I give them all the honorable benefit of the doubt… Beck, the TPE lady on the phone and the four in the studio.
It is a “long march” America is on, and we must hang together, or, as Ben Franklin said, we will surely hang separately.

I agree. The Tea Party should not be defensive at all on racist charges. It is a waste of time and energy to let the left distract from the issues.
They should get a well known psychologist to hit the media with” whoever obsesses about race is usually the racist.”

Thanks for letting me comment. I watched the Friday program and did not like it at all. Would have much preferred some more history. It was creepy that the woman from Alaska was talked about after she hung up and even creepier that we all got to hear it.
I also did not like the comment from Jenny Beth Martin, from TPP, when she said that the same thing was going on in the Bush administration as in the Obama administration but, the only difference is that Obama's administration is on speed.
I reject that. Yes, Pres. Bush did start the first bail out but he got the most important thing right – and that was he kept us SAFE! George W. loves this country and he certainly cared for our military. Bush is a patriot in my book and I for one will always thank God that Bush was the one in office at the time of 9/11.
I also did not like it when Mark Skoda tried to distance his group from the Republicans. I would like to ask him, “Exactly who will you vote for in November, Mr. Skoda?” We will have an opportunity to put a check on the un-American President we now have in office by voting Republican and we better get it right.
The whole program was a dis-service to conservatives. As PPARSEALOT commented, it only opened the door for the Left and the MSM to criticize us more.
What a waste of an hour. I am a registered Republican and I align myself with the Tea Party movement as I'm sure many of you do also.
Let's hang together and wipe out this ENEMY IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
