Glenn Beck Show Discussion – March 10, 2010

I was asked in the comments yesterday to continue posting a Glenn Beck Show thread to give you a place to discuss the show. That’s a great idea. I’m currently watching it now, but I will post clips from the show as they are made available by Fox, Mediaite, or whomever else makes them available.

Let’s discuss!

The clips were here before but Fox is blocking me from using their material. I’m not sure why they are picking only on me because there were other and still are others out there that they know about. Yet I seem to be the subject of their rather. Sorry guys, but unless Fox lifts their block I can’t post their clips on my site. :(

Such a sad day – in true libertarian fashion, it is a shame we can not take content that was 'aired' and not share those free with others. These things have a shelf life of 2 days and it seems strange that a person can DVR it, but if you don't have a DVR your are SOL. If you truly use logic, a person make a painting and another person can show that painting to whomever they wish, but if you have a video it is illegal. Strange planet we live on – eh.

From a fox perspective, the purpose of the show is to make money and so it's better for them to just allow teaser clips to get people to watch the show and their ads.

If I had a choice between watching the show on TV and watching it on rightscoop, I'd prefer to watch it here so I don't have to sit through the ads. If everybody does that they lose their ratings and their revenue.

I guess we'll have to be happy with the teaser clips.

It does make sense….I can understand that way of thinking…But alot of people work and can't watch…in my state it comes on at 4pm…I'm always gone…
I know this will never happen but I think they should put him in O'Reillys spot….I know, it's evil, I shouldn't say it but I like Beck more than O'Reilly….

  4. Tyler says:

That's not evil at all. O' Reilly's GONE STALE. Beck's where it's at now.

I am new to writing here, but I will throw in my 2 cents… The thing I don't get is this… why don't they just post it on their site with commercials attached. That way the sponsor wins, the network wins, and the customer (us) wins because we get to see the show. They are actually losing revenue by not doing this because there are a lot of people who don't have or want cable. They are not going to subscribe to cable just the get Fox News. (As tempting as that is)

The only people that really lose are the cable companies, but their gig now is HD, and the bonus packages. I think they are doing just fine without this small amount of revenue.

Fox should know this, and just post the thing on their site so they would build more traffic to their own advertiser on their website… duh!!!

  6. Tyler says:

Because that would just make too much sense. Anyway, there are still websites out there that allow you to see the episodes IN FULL AND without ads as long as you put a little effort looking for them. The only reason Scoop can't do it anymore here is because of a whiney little crybaby who decided to ruin the experience for everyone else by reporting him to YouTube and informing Fox Legal about it.

  7. It's pretty sad when I see the liberals I work with watching the full streaming NBC Today show on the computer and FOX doesn't seem to “get it”. Maybe when the economy get even deeper in the shitter, and people start dropping cable, maybe then FOX will get the news and start getting the message.

I not only don't have cable, we're TV-free. GB is literally the ONLY show I watch — and the odd Stossel — was anyway…We're not buying a TV and cable just for that – used to watch on Glenn Beck Clips – that got slammed shut; as did:the stream for tvpc.com. I think FNC is going after everything. If anyone posts other sources, they'll get hit.

Maybe If someone called Becks radio show he and purpose he post his show on the insider extreme and that way it all works i mean he has to have some rights to his own show he gotta be able to pull some strings.

  10. djayelliott says:

There are places to get free Stream of a certain cable news channel that plays a popular show at 5 o clock
i mean i do have cable but also i live in Hawaii the show re-airs @ 9 pm here

  11. Tyler says:

Anyway…as I said…all you have to do for the FULL episodes is search for the websites out there that still do it. There's a LOT of them if that crybaby is still checkin in on us and wants to go after THEM AS WELL…he can SEARCH FOR THEM ALL right along with us. Haha.

  12. jpmink says:

Ya… I understand the Capitalistic “business is business” stance Fox has decided to take. I live outside the US for 6-9 months at a time for my company. I can not afford to pay for access to an Insider type set up, but I have introduced everyone I know to Glenn & Tea Parties… and I talk about Glenn's topics with the people around where ever I happen to be. Now am in Vietnam and being able to explain to people here the history and rarity of freedom is amazing. They can actually somewhat understand how America influenced the world in a good way. I learn something new from Glenn every day. Thanks for your webpage!

  13. TheDeadTerrorist says:

Tyler… this maybe risky, but could you please e-mail me some the sites you are talking about. I can't seem to find them… scarlettmariner@netzero.com

Don't worry, it was an account I created for Junk Sign Up stuff, and I don't care who knows about it.

    Thanks!

  14. djayelliott says:

where are these sites i mean we need to come up with a way to post the show as a file that can be downloaded some type of file share.
