Even though Beck hates the new Rick Barber ad, he hates duplicity as well, and goes after Olbermann for his double standard treatment of Rick Barber:

Gather your armies, as in like minded people band together to make your voices heard. How can you seriously think he was referring to armed revolution? I don't know him personally, but my daughter does and he would no more call for an armed revolution than Obama would solve the oil crisis by 'kicking' someone's ass.

Like I said, you display your own ignorance by using “cut and paste” talking points, where did you get them? Perhaps The Center for American Progress or perhaps Media Matters maybe even one of Rev. Wallis' sites. Do you not possess enough gray matter between your ears to formulate an original thought or is it that you lack in the ability to form coherent sentences. Be careful that Mommy and Daddy don't catch you using their computer.

    Ken,

…just did a Google search for the lead-in of her/his post: “Gather your armies, as in like minded people band together”

    …no results.

If it was a copy/paste “talking point” from some other site, it's fresh from this morning.

On a sideline thought ~ When I first read their post (on the other thread about this Marine's ad), I understood it to be a cogent defense of the man's gist in the ad, and against Beck's rant… and concurred fully (that's my “like” you will find on the other thread).

Still do (and still love what Beck does, overall. But there ARE TIMES…).

    As Always,

With as many “talking points” posts as I've seen on sites, probably why I jumped when I saw two word for word identical posts by different posters. They set off that alarm but in the exchange they exposed their point as ill informed, in my opinion. But I did see the reason later in the exchange.

  • KeninMontana

However in their posts they equate a campaign ad to justify to what I feel was a very unpresidential statement beneath the office. I still see a big difference in the two remarks.

Haven't finished reading all responses… didn't see the “arse” connection. If so, then yessir, there is NO comparison between those two lines (or the men who mouthed them).

That would have to be my grandchildren catching me and thank you for the
compliment. I'm glad you think my post was coherent and thoughtful. I
sometimes think ahead faster than I type and find typos after my posts are
gone, but I assure you every word of that is my own.

    Dittos – “… there ARE TIMES…”

Sometimes even good men and women get it wrong… but, that's what friends are for… to set them straight (… just a little bit of humor).

Instead of repeating myself, see the other thread where I, as a friend of Beck's, set him straight about Rick Barber's EXCELLENT ad, that has the touch of the artist, which Beck, the artist, missed.
