Why should we expect any less from people in Washington. I am not surprised that Liebermann caved in. It was a far gone conclusion. Just as I expect any other blue dog democrat to follow the money and not their conscience.
No I find it rather sad that we do not have representatives who use their position to uphold the constitution and not to uphold the special interest. The funny part is that the Republicans are the reason they are in the position currently being the minority and I am supposed to feel sorry for them? No I don't. I just find it disheartening that we the people are not important enough to really see the impact this legislation will have down the road, five years, ten years, twenty years when we have a nation that is bankrupt.
Then again, we are morally bankrupt now, so why not continue down the road of being financially bankrupt.

It was announced while Beck was on the air this morning and below is his response as well as a story of how he and Lieberman used to be friends back during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and how it ended.
