Rep. Louie Gohmert says that when Obama argued that we can no longer have a few rich make it when some many are hurting, that it’s Obama himself who has done more to help the rich get richer and the poor get poor than any president that he can recall in his lifetime.
On the debt ceiling legislation currently in the works, Gohmert slams it saying that the millionaires in the Senate shouldn’t be given the power over whether he gets his salary in the House. He also adds that there could be no bigger effort in futility than to try and get the Senate to pass a budget with budget cuts, saying we might as well be jousting at windmills.
So basically he’s not going to support the legislation with spending cuts or a balanced budget amendment.
