Gov. Walker: If I had it to do over again, I’d spend more time explaining why it’s necessary

Gov. Walker has taken a hit on his approval ratings since he passed his landmark legislation to bring fiscal sanity back to the state of Wisconsin and which was also just upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. What he says he would do differently if he could go back would be to spend more time explaining to the people why they were doing it.

Regarding the upcoming recall elections he says that the Democrats are going to spend 25 million trying to punish 6 Republicans and defend 3 Democrats, which they will try and match as much as they can to level the playing field. But he says they will also make the case that recall elections are supposed to be used for misconduct of office, not for one vote. And the real misconduct of office was the three Democrats who left the state which completely halted the legislation process.

He believes they will win the recall elections that are slated for this summer:
