DNI James Clapper told both the Congress and the Senate that he didn’t know how the intelligence talking points were changed by the time it got to Susan Rice. But then he turned around and changed his story, leaking to CBS that his office changed the talking points. Covering for the White House are ya Clapper? Gowdy, in the interview below, says he doesn’t know if he can ever trust anything else the DNI says given his quick flip flop on the issue.

Regarding Susan Rice, Gowdy says if Obama wants to be held accountable instead of Susan Rice, then he needs to come and answer questions before a congressional hearing in Susan Rice’s place.

I wish this guy would also address the massive voter fraud scandal and unveil the illegal campaign donations from abroad that were accepted by Obama. Only someone like Gowdy could defend the will of the People. I have heard that the GOP and the Dems have an agreement that was signed 30 years ago to not challenge elections results, but I don't think that they also agreed on illegal international campaign donations. Furthermore this agreement was made between the parties and not with "We The People". We have the right not only to vote, but to ask that our vote doesn't get manipulated nor destroyed.

This is great. I heard, you heard, everyone heard Obama sound off telling the house that if the wanted to get answers they should ask him, not Rice. Ok fine, Gowdy wants some answers from Obama. I just can't wait for the media's reaction to a white, male, republican, from SC, with an accent to match, named Trey as he starts asking his Mostglorious One questions. Giant Great Dane Racism Whistle Alert.

Makes me chuckle because there is only one Obama that would look forward to answering a few questions and salivates for the opportunity to speak up. That is Michelle Obama. It wouldn't be politically correct nor end well but I might just admire the performance much more than hearing her weasel mouth husband.

This "President" doesn't have the cojones to come explain himself and the loss of life. HE DOESN'T THINK HE NEEDS TO AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE LOSS OF LIFE.

He thinks he is the emperor as he once again said in Asia "I wish I didn't have to have the cooperation of congress" while advocating for a Republic???? What douche bag

That's twice

My wife and I conversed a great deal after the election and what the re-election of the current resident in the white house will do to our country. Of course this after a long barrage of profanities that I must ashamedly admit I used with ferocity and undeniable intent. After a token effort to calm down we both agreed that now is not the time to go lick our wounds, but to re-engage with a new resolve. We surmised that the conservative movement, our conservative movement, needs to actively seek their next candidate for President of the United States, one that can be groomed not to placate the press but to put their complacency of their boy Barry, for the world to see. We must also seek an impartial party to lead the debates. I would love to see several respondents from this, The Right Scoop discussion forum fill in this duty, but I'm not sure any liberal would survive the truth. I don't have a list set in mind for who the next president candidate should be but a list I would like to see put together would be: Allan West, Lindsey Graham, Trey Gowdy, and Marco Rubio. This is in no way a complete list, and who knows what conservative leader is waiting in the wings who at this time is unknown. Much like Audie Murphy, who was unknown for his military leadership until he was called upon. Like Sgt Alvin York, who like Audie Murphy did what all great leaders do, took initiative, showed resolve and LEAD BY EXAMPLE! Make no mistake, Sen Gowdy shines forth as a person that holds himself to the same standard he expects form those he leads, and a truthful person as well.

As a resident of South Carolina, we are extremely proud of Trey Gowdy. I totally agree with most of your choices above with the exception of Lindsay Graham (SC Senator) Mr. Graham is not consistent with his views (major flip-flopper), I believe some of this hot air @ the moment is to ensure his re-election in 2014, because he is in trouble here. But Allan West or Trey Gowdy are excellent choices!!!!! I love Marco Rubio (as I was hoping for a Romney/Rubio ticket) but after this past election I am concerned he may not have the "steel resolve" that is needed to not only fight the dirty campaign of the Democratic party but to also fight the slandering media. But Trey & West, say what they mean...mean what they say...and take NO prisoners when it come to supporting conservative views.

Thanks for the insight. I am a resident in Indiana so I do not have all of the facts on the South Carolina senator, Lindsay Graham. All I ever get to see is what is on the news, or talk radio so I have not witnessed the flip flopping by Lindsay Graham. You being a resident of South Carolina give you an insight that I appreciate greatly. I would have included our Governor Mitch Daniels but he decided to leave politics and turn towards education. He accepted a position with a university here in Indiana (Purdue). Do you have any other names that should be added to the list? I think the RNC should start looking now for any candidate that could and should pass a rigorous vetting process. I have heard no talk show host, or television host call the RNC out on the subject of getting ready for 2016. Hate, dislike, tolerate, or like Obama, it must be obvious he started campaigning for 2012 as soon as he won in 2008. Conservatives need to do the same but with even greater ferocity this time. If the RNC is serious about winning 2016, and I mean all three rings of the government circus, then they should provide a list of potential candidates, and articles, web sites, and news stories that we conservatives can research and determine who we want. If we do this now, then we can quickly get behind the right people and mass our fire power in a concentrated effort. The longer we delay the further behind we will be the progressive left and their efforts to find someone to carry on Barry's destruction of our country.

Yes, we conservatives need to choose the right candidate and then support that person 100%. We can't continue the infighting and expect to win any election in the future. Neither can we continue to allow the 'rules' of the process to be made soley by the liberals. When going along to get along becomes the mantra of the leadership, candidates, and congressional representatives of the conservative party then we shouldn't be surprised with the outcome on election day, as sickening as it is.

The real tragedy is that we have lost trust and repect for most of our leaders in this country. When someone like Gowdy does the 'right' thing we are shocked. Honor and integrity are no longer expected from those who represent us in Washington. Criminal actions by the Obama administration have become the norm and worse............we are getting numb to it all. In four years there will be no more talk of rising up and holding the leaders accountalbe. The worse possible outcome is that apathy will have consumed us all.

Libertyship46

With all of this going on, you would think a Special Prosecutor is needed right now. If this was a Republican president, there would be a small army of Special Prosecutors investigating this. It is shocking that this Congress isn't going after these people in a more agressive manner.

This is the world of obama. No accountability for anything since the day he was born and he has a staff just like him. We have a lot of Americans who are ignorant and just plain not bright for voting for obama's 2nd term. It's shameful.

I don't care what little Miss Priss at the UN has for a resume. The little mix doesn't have the intellectual accumen to defend herself like Jeanne Kirpatrick and Condi Rice had. No., she needs her stinken POTUS and the CBC to defend her by playing the race card.

The other two women didn't use the woman card or the race card. Why? Because they were smart enough and tough enough to fight their own battles. They deserved better.

Rice lied. And if she doesn't have the necessary intellectual firepower to fight her own battles, then she isn't smart enough to do much else.

Look at her record at the UN. She's been sitting there like a bump on a log for 4 years collecting dust. She's in a job that is already over her tiny head.

Maybe she should go back to what she studied for in school...economics. Although God help us if she ever does that; cause that chick is living in a parallel universe.

Susan Rice was in the Clinton Administration back in 1994 when the Rwanda genocide happened. She was part of that cabal of Clintonites who deliberately removed the words "genocide" and "ethnic cleansing" from State Department documents and CIA documents related to Rwanda. She was a liar then. She's a liar now. She's a political hack who will lie for a president, and do so without thought. I remember her. I remember that entire disgrace in Rwanda and Clinton's BS, not to mention his BS in Mogadishu. And who was there with him? Susan Rice.

Good guy. This shows you what our representatives are facing. We never get to hear what they're doing or saying or trying or accomplish. The main stream media in this country is committing treason against all Americans even the ones who don't know it. We need to find a way to make them tell the truth. I'm working on it as I hope others are.

In a just world, the next Speaker of the House would be chosen from a list that includes Trey Gowdy, Allen West, and Newt.....John Boner should be canned so he can spend his time polishing Obama's golfballs

i voted for Newt in the primaries and now we see why it was rumored the the O-administration wanted to run againt Romney. They knew they could beat him down. Romney ran what should have been an obvious choice campaine but we are talking a battle with a lying cheating left. John Boner needs to go asap and i dont understand why the Trey Gowdy's that are left allowed Bohner to stay.

Is there a sane person on the face of the earth who thinks Obama would tell the truth under oath? Obama lies like a pathological liar with no perception of the truth. The sad part is 50% of Americans are bobble-headed dolls mesmerized in is presence. Gowdy is just wasting his breath and he knows it.
