Go ahead and try to ban guns. Little old church ladies in black, inner city neighborhoods will still pack heat, just like they do now, with the same, unregistered guns. And good for them for not being as stupid as Bob ('The Ghoul') Costas.
Greg hit the nail on the head. Those whining over gun bans are usually the ones with paid protection.
As for the KKK comment, when intelligent comments can't be made some always fall back on the controversial. That insures their name makes headlines.

Rush said we need to do background checks before giving people microphones... that he knows we have the 1st amendment but the Founders never heard of or envisioned microphones, PA systems, tvs, etc.
It was so funny too! I was outside raking leaves and my back was killing me and then it rained a bit... Great... Then Rush came on the radio and that whole segment about mikes just had me laughing out loud! I hope Scoop might be able to find it and share it, it was Rush at his brilliant and funniest best!
If you want to voice your displeasure at Costas comments, don't complain to NBC. That's nothing but a waste of time. Voice your ire with the NFL.
The NFL has final say on who is on their broadcasts (any broadcast that carries the "NFL" shield). They might work for that particular network, but the NFL has to approve them.
If the NFL gets enough complaints, they'll press on NBC. And NBC can't risk losing their only successful program.
I posted this on Scoop's thread of Whitlock's comment but it probably won't get any media attention. It didn't at the time and media is not searching for any real truth on Belcher's own culpability. Just gun control and smear the NRA.

As usual, Greg is correct about both those extreme left-wing losers. I wonder if Costas and Whitlock are dating or going steady at this point. Either way, they deserve each other.
This comment is not directed at the good Scoopers here, but at the media.
I'd like to see more condemnation of the shooter. He murders his girlfriend of many years, shooting her NINE times!!!! He has made an orphan of the little 3 month old innocent child who is now deprived of growing up knowing and loving his/her (I'm not sure which the child is) Mother! Those two facts alone should send this dirtbag straight to Hell, but no. He goes to the stadium and calls out 2 other people to kill himself in front of! Leaving those two gentlemen with a horrifying memory as well. What a cowardly, narcissistic, self absorbed, dirty rotten POS the killer (I deliberately won't use his name) truly is!
Why isn't the media concentrating on this, instead of talk of banning handguns and how many bangs to the head the killer might have had. There are THOUSANDS if not millions of people who play football and get their heads banged in. The killing has nothing to do with head banging!
The media also immediately jumped upon it's little hobby horse named "gun control" and disgustingly and cynically exploited the murder/suicide to try and advance the liberal agenda of disarming the law abiding American citizen. They use statistics to back this up, but it's all baloney and everyone knows it. If that killer didn't have access to a gun, do you think he wouldn't have used a knife? If not that, an iron bar? Anything really.
I hope this murdering rotten dirtbag is burning in Hell as I type because for what he did, that's where he deserves to be.

I was out and just head all that on talk radio too. He has a history of domestic violence and control issues as well and not just with the mother of his baby but with a previous girlfriend. What an upstanding citizen he is.
If that were me or you... We'd be lucky not to end up in the clink. Perhaps if the cops had done their job, this dirtbag might have had to sober up and might not have done the murder/suicide... I'd hate to be the cop that let him go having that on my conscience.
I love this part. The cops find him passed out in a car parked on the street and all they do is tell him 'not to drive'? Do you think that is what would happen to some average shmuk? I can testify from experiences long ago, that it isn't.
#1. The car was a Bentley. #2. The driver was a famous sports figure. #3. He's a famous Black sports figure.

I just lost some respect for Bernie Goldberg last night who was on O'Reilly to defend Costas. Among other things Goldberg stated that Jason Whitlock, who called NRA members the new KKK, was a "...very fine columnist, and that Costas was just concerned about the culture of guns in this country.
Must be Costas got a lot of blow back form his editorial. I am just shaking my head over what Goldberg said.

I saw that last night and was appalled by what Goldberg said. I have never really 'liked' his point of view, but this was bending over backwards for absolutely no reason. I'm glad you mentioned it. I thought at the time there might be a thread on Scoop today about it.

I also thought that Whitlock's comment on the KKK was stupid and what makes it even more stupid is the fact that the mainstream media keeps giving morons like that a platform to spew their stupidity. I wish somebody would have someone like Greg Gutfeld actually debate someone like Whitlock on TV to call them out for once and have the public see how foolish their arguments are. THAT would be refreshing, although it will never happen, especially with the mainstream media.
Exactly. The only debates we see are on LameStream TV, where they set the agenda and pick the participants. The Conservative view is promoted on talk radio (and that is a good thing), but when it comes to TV, the liberals control 98% of it (and it appears FOX is starting to lean toward the left more and more every day).
