This guy Hagel is just as dangerous as Obama, and Hagel probably is a friend of the Muslim Brotherhood just like his boss, Obama.
The GOP should strip him of his RINO status, whereby he can no longer use the "R" next to his name. The commie & terrorist friendly party who uses the "D" moniker should welcome him with open arms for this revelation.

Actually, now we can all see why Obama likes this guy so much. They think alike. If this loser is made Secretary of Defense, the Republicans may as well just pack up in Washington and go home. If they can't convince the American public that this is a really lousy candidate, then they can't convince the American public of anything, especially after all of the mistakes Hagel made last week. Pathetic.
Lovely... So we'll have Brennin - who believes that the Muslim Brotherhood is largely secular. And we'll have Hagel - who actively accepts money from a radical terrorist group. And we have Kerry - who spit on his fellow soldiers after Vietnam. And we apparently don't have anyone answering the critical phone calls at 2am. And we are pulling back a whole carrier group from the war zones. And they want to take our ability to defend ourselves on the homefront.

The Dems are hoping that the GOP will filibuster Hagel so they can then blame the Republicans for the failure of Obama's nominee to get confirmed. I actually think they ought to let the Dems hang themselves on this - the old Peter's Principle. Hagel will be incompetent and disastrous, so let him. One of these days the Dems will pay the price.
I'd agree, but our troops would most likely pay the price if he's nominated. And that's way too high of a price to see paid. :-(

Remember Hagel is an R so GOP will be blamed for the failure while Barky says "I was inclusive, I reached across the aisle and appointed a Republican to a critical position in my cabinet"
This revelation begs a number of obvious questions, starting with what the heck was the Obama administration thinking in putting Hagel's name forward?
In light of this revelation:
- Will the three Republican Senators who were prepared to support Hagel's nomination change their mind?
- Will the Democratic Senators, lead by Chuck Schumer continue to support Hagel's nomination?
Exactly. This disqualifies him for security clearances needed for the job, and the Senate knows that.
Are we surprised that this only came out after the vote was postponed?
Confirming him and supporting his confirmation is pretty close to a crime at this point. Very close. If it can be shown that he is 'on the payroll' of this group, his associates in the senate could be under investigation to lose any of their security clearances. Our government doesn't hand out top-secret clearance to anyone.
Even if he is confirmed, this revelation alone will undermine his authority and hobble his ability to even perform the job.

Hagel has refused to answer any questions on foreign funding for his campaigns. That, regardless of the organizations tied to it, is enough to justify not giving him top-secret clearance, which would mean he can't do the proposed job.
"Yesterday, 25 senators sent a letter to Hagel demanding information on his foreign funding. Hagel has refused all such requests..."
Hagel HAS refused to answer those questions, unless you think Hagel is doing a hack-job in the news on himself. And that is even if this purported group name is incorrect... cuz we don't know, as Hagel hasn't given any information out.
If you've ever tried to get top-secret clearance, you'll know that they want every single connection you've ever had over the past 15 years or more, and they investigate ALL of them.
If Hagel doesn't go down in flames I'll be surprised because they're looking for a way to get rid of him. This is only the tip of the iceberg and I had read last week he's on the board of one of Soros' organizations. Yesterday, I read they're investigating him about a sexual harassment charge which involved his office so at this point he should remove his name from consideration and save everyone the trouble and himself from further embarassment.
