Not only did Hagel look unprepared and foolish, he looked stupid too. THAT is NOT the image you want to project to the world for your Secretary of Defense. Just think about how the powerhouse and intellect Donald Rumsfeld was compared to this jerk. You may not agree with what Rumsfeld had to say, but NOBODY could ever say that Rumsfeld was dumb or didn’t know what he was talking about. You COULD, however, say that (and more) about Hagel. Hagel really thinks that he’s just some sort of figurehead and that the Pentagon will be run out of the White House. If he really thinks that, then he knows nothing about the Pentagon, military defense, or strategic thinking. And if that’s the case, then it would literally be a crime making this moron Secretary of Defense.
Like I said: he's like a tired, worn out drunk. Incoherent. Mushmouth.
Just think: in Star Wars, Lord Darth Vader was holder of the title "Supreme Commander of the Imperial Forces", second in that power only to Emperor Playtime, himself. Now think for a moment: this punch drunk is the guy Obama thinks is the right guy to be his Darth Vader.
I'd feel safe laughing in both their faces.
In his opening remarks, Hagel said, “No one individual vote, no one individual quote, no one individual statement defines me, my beliefs, or my record.”
In other words, he believes he has the right to flip-flop at any time on any issue without being held responsible for his previous statements or votes. How convenient.
Will Senator Cruz really put a "hold" on Hagel's nomination? I think any Senator has that power, then Obama would have to find another guy!
By the way, is Obama choosing Hagel because the latter was CEO Election Systems & Software?

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:
Stop allowing dual citizens with loyalties to other countries to modify our laws via public officeOur government is run by people such as the anti-American senator Dianne Feinstein whose loyalties rest in other countries, namely Israel. Demand the administration to prohibit the election or appointment of dual citizens into public office, where they may propose, modify, or criticize laws as they see fit, and likely with an agenda which suits their preferred country of citizenship. Our government should be run ONLY by full American citizens with no formal loyalties to any other country, allied or otherwise.
If anyone votes of either party votes for Hagel after this then I think we need to demand mental health checks for every senator. He's incompetent, has no idea of what he's talking about and I wish someone had shown him a map because I doubt he would even know where the Middle East it.
It is my position! That I didn't have a position on these matters until a position became thrust upon me in the form of a burrito supreme grande, and Barry Obama. Now if you would excuse me, I have pressing business to attend to.
Look at all of the clowns in the Senate. They tabled Paul's amendment to prohibit F-16s and Abrams tanks from being sent to Egypt. That should tell us all we need to know about them. Hagel's confirmation is close at hand.

Well, when you have a career built upon piling one shitty thing atop of another, what once was containable soon becomes less so. At some point the line not only blurs but it gets a might sticky as well.
Hagel spent today trying to fling his own excrement from hands caught in the honeypot of alleged "service to country".
