Obama is all for "the welfare of the children" except when one of his party is engaging in sex with them. Where is the outrage?
I actually met him once at an event, say about 25 years ago, when he was in the NJ legislature. My recollection is that he also had a 2nd political job, read taxpayer funded paycheck, as mayor of Union City. It was his political power base.
Don't exactly recall his statements and comments. But, they were shrewdly extremely liberal-socialist. And I do vividly recall that I saw him to be a slimey sleazebag that can't be trusted.
He's from the Hudson County political system, which endeavors to be as corrupt as possible. Its where he learned his political skills. So, why expect anything different from him?
Having said that, his current activities qualify him for a leadership position with the Democrat party.
Just to illustrate how phony all of this is, I ask people if they heard of Senator Menendez. No one knows. (This story should at least be in the local news).
Now, I don't have to point out that if this were say, someone of conservative/traditional leanings what the answer to that question would be.
I live in New Jersey, so it's going to take a lot more than this to make this bum quit. Democrats have absolutely no shame, especially in this state, which gave us such lowlifes as Jim McGreevey and Robert Torricelli. This is the state that has the best politicians money can buy and Menendez certainly is no exception. The FBI is going to have to charge him with criminal charges that they know they can get a conviction on before Menendez quits. Sad, but that's the way things work in New Jersey. You can never, EVER, shame a politician in leaving here.

Menendez has many more problems than this. This is just the latest scum to be dug up about him. Of course the man has no character, but he will end up on CNN in a failed chat show of some sort.
I trust the DC, but I don't trust the word of a prostitute. If she sells her body, she will say or do anything for money, including lie through her teeth! I am in no way defending this Menendez POS, I am saying that I would like a more credible source than an anonymous "Beth" before I'd go constructing a gallows for any man.

You mean like Sen. Robert Byrd who was an "exalted cyclops" of the Ku Klux Klan, for instance and served in the Senate from 1959 right up to his death in 2010?
I think we all know what the 'media' would have done to a Republican Senator who 'apologized' for being a big shot in the Klan and called it a 'youthful indiscretion'.

Of course you are correct. KKK Byrd used the "N" word on TV with the word "white" in front of it and went on his merry way until he hit the grave. Trent Lott said something about Thurmond being elected president back when and to this day it's what he's known for....
