Cain said last night at a Tea Party event in south Florida that he was asked by someone that since Obama has been so bad as a President, did he think that America would be more reluctant to elect another black man as President. Cain replied (with more pizazz and energy than I can note here) that he didn’t think so, especially given that quite a few white presidents have been pretty bad.

But the best part comes when he explains why the MSM is attacking Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin so vigilantly, and why they are for the most part ignoring him.

Enjoy!

I have a question for my American cousins over the Pond.

Put aside emotion and wishful thinking, and be completely objective here and answer me this question:

Do you honestly think that Obama will win a second term?

I am not asking if you think he deserves it, or for you to go off on a tirade about the merits of his presidency, but is your gut feeling telling you he will get four more years?

    • Jim

Unfortunately at this point in time yes. At the moment there is no contender that has the national following or the “energy factor” to beat him. 18 months is a political eternity though, and a lot can happen.

      • Steprock

Herman Cain, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Sarah Palin, Allen West, even Trump. Put them together in the right combination and you may have something very interesting.

I’d say there’s maybe ONE good Presidential candidate in that list, two VPs, and we’re waiting to see who the real front-runner will be. Not a political insider, just a voter shooting from the hip.

        • Leel004

You would think (key word is THINK) people would be SO strongly want to end this financial nightmare with obama that it would be any BUT…..but toooooo many sheep vote for the party, and unions tell who to vote for and corruption is strong and open, that Yes I FEAR he has a strong potential for being re-elected.

          • Anonymous

We have arrived at that point in time that have brought done many nations. The majority of Americans no longer pay any taxes, or very little but they do get Govt benefits, 40 million+ families now receive food stamps. Thats the reason Democrats refuse to make any budget cuts, they pay for their votes.

      • Steprock

*I’m not a political insider, clarification

    • Steprock

It depends a lot on the Republican candidate, which is why I am paying so much attention at this early stage of the game.

As much as right wing people don’t like the President and even though his numbers are down, he could still rekindle the magic of his campaign speeches and he STILL has many media outlets (NBC) acting as his personal propaganda machines (ignoring their 1st Amendment responsibilities).

We need to run a candidate with both energy and experience. That will be the key. Remember, a lot of Democrat and Indi voters are disillusioned with him, but that doesn’t mean that the Republicans automatically get their votes.

    • sDee

If the truth be told – hell no! But……………………….

The fact that Obama’s approvals are not at 20% despite the disastrous state of our economy, the debt, and a foreign policy that is teetering on global destabilization, should tell you something.

He is the pinnacle of a political cabal electing the leader of the free world. Unions, a coalition leftists/Marxist/communist organizations, race baiters, UN globalists, university systems, the green movement, Soros, central banks, Islamist money, anti-Israel Jewish vote, Hollywood elite, and most of all a complicit dishonest media.

Meanwhile the Republican Party completely missed the significance of the Tea Party revolt. They are working overtime to compromise with the Progressive Democrats, destroy their true leaders, and polish up their next Progressive Republican candidate

Has the truth gotten out yet?

Have the citizens of the UK figured out the path of destruction this same cabal has taken you guys?

We are still armed, still have one vote on the Supreme Court, still fight the Islamist enemies within, still have freedom of speech, and one helluva lot of us stand with Patrick Henry – Give me Liberty or Give me Death.

      I will take those odds.

      • ksucatinokc

One thing about negative poll numbers for Bush you must remember. A LOT of people that weren’t happy with him in the polls still supported him and would vote for him again. What many of us weren’t happy about was the OVER-spending and the fact he was compromising TOO MUCH with the liberals. You need to understand that the opposite isn’t true. Liberals ALWAYS agree with what their high priests do, because they are unable to think for themselves. Thus, they will always poll better.

        • Markh

I think you have this totally backward. The liberals have a hard time agreeing with each other because they actually THINK! They debate each other as well as the conservatives, who know nothing more then speaking points. They do not understand how to debate with each other. They get an idea and everyone says yes, and lets see how many can repeat the same point over and over again. Yes, Obama will get elected again because he is at least making real attempts at moving this country forward. The last administration left this country in such shambles that no president could get it fixed in the short 4 years of their election.

          • sDee

Many of us see clearly that the last 2 years are the 8 before it, on steriods. Out of control government growth, debt and trampling of our freedoms and constitutional rights.

We all have it backwards. It is not about bush vs obama, donkeys vs republicans, lib vs conservative. The choice facing Americans is freedom and liberty vs being a slave to a central government feeding upon itself. In the latter, only the political elite have freedom.

          • sDee

You are the perfect example of group think sheep. Bush had nothing to do with the housing bubble created by leftists who believe that everyone has a right to own their home. He and McCain tried many times to correct what was going on. Look it up it’s easy to find.

    • ksucatinokc

After this Libya debacle, I will say no. It may just be wishful thinking and our country will not survive another term under this clown, but I don’t believe he will be re-elected. With that said, it isn’t a lock that the GOP or a conservative will win it. Hillary is playing this perfectly, O***a will be challenged in the primary and he would lose convincingly if it happened today. I can’t stand Hillary, but I do NOT believe she HATES this country like the kenyan does.

      • Virusx2k1

No? You don’t believe Hillary hates the US like Obama does? This wouldn’t be the same Hillary that came up with HillaryCare, would it?

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clinton_health_care_plan_of_1993

It wouldn’t be the same Hillary that spit on the Constitution in such a disgraceful way that even liberals denounced her and fired her from her White House legal position, as she tried to violate the Constitutional rights of Richard Nixon? Would it be the same Hillary that is globalist with a Communist background?

        http://www.usasurvival.org/ck061903.shtml

The same Hillary Clinton that has a psychotic hatred for the very people that give her the protection she does not deserve?

        http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/533412/posts

If you think she is any different from Obama, other than the fact that she’s a white woman, you’re delusional. One would be no better than the other. She may try talking a good game, but that’s just so you’ll believe her and vote for her. Just like Obama did, not long enough ago.

      • Anonymous

        Obama’s approval rating today, 41% – Hillary 66%.

    • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo The Wizard of Oz

Yes- Obama will likely win 4 more unless the conservatives get a very decisive victory- and even that may not be enough.

I think this upcoming election, and the changes some want to impose on the American people, are so important to some people that they will do whatever it takes to prevent any steps backwards.

I would not put it past any outside influence to cheat by way of altering votes electronically or other, or like they do in Chicago, have dead people vote.

    • Persephone

It will depend on several things, Mark Cooper.

If the Conservatives put forth another crusty old candidate like they did in 2008…then we will lose.

If there is widespread voter-fraud that goes un-checked…like what happened in 2008…then we will lose.

If Obama receives million$ in foreign donations like he did in 2008…it will be extremely hard to counter that.

So, at this point…it is a big question mark.
A lot of people who voted for Obama…are waking up to how badly they were fooled by this Marxist…which is encouraging.

    • Dr_Jen

No. Obama is another Carter. End of story.

    • JR Dogman

I think if Gov. Palin decides to run, she will mop the floor with Obama.

Here, in part, is why she will beat him like the proverbial red-headed stepchild:

Enough of affirmative action…Let’s vote a real American into the office of President of the United States of America. Let’s elect the BEST man or woman for the job. Someone with EXPERIENCE to restore America to it’s founding principals. Someone with integrity, and a moral backbone. Someone that won’t go whereever the wind blows him. Whether that be Herman Cain, Michelle Bachman, Allen West, or someone else…Not sure. But, we have to stop with the “tingly feelings” and choose the BEST/MOST QUALIFIED person for the position, a real LEADER.

    • sDee

Indeed! The silver lining in the disaster we call Barak Hussein Obama is that I’ve finely tuned my radar for those who stand for liberty and freedom, vs those who intend to enslave us with more government.

It is now a black and white world for me – and I damn sure am not referring to skin color!

    I love this man.

I would vote for Herman Cain in a split second.
And I do not know anyone would not.

No I do not think BHO will win a second term. Is there a clear leader on the Republican side? No. If the election was today, he would be reelected but even the fraudulent unemployment numbers are ringing hollow and everyday more average independent types are finding out that inflation is a far bigger problem than is being admitted.
First I will tell you there is not a name listed I would not crawl naked over broken glass to vote for and against his Oneness.. Now my analysis
Herman Cain: Awesome inspiring speaker, knows how to turn things around, but honestly very little experience winning in politics and now “professional” team in place.
Marco Rubio, Great speaker, dong all the right things raised money and organization in an important state but no national organization
Chris Christie, My GOD! what a man, common sense to spare, I understand he has some liberal stands, but not on the money issues.
Sarah Palin, This woman can draw an audience in a matter of hours. Her supporters love her (I feel even stronger). She stepped in some messes during 08 (many based on lies- Russia from her porch, Africa is a country and so on) I am not sure she can ever overcome the slimes from the Lame Stream Media enough to attract the uninvolved independent voters and she needs to work on her voice – it gets a little highpitched and strained far to often. (The right voice coach could solve this in 2 hours or less)
Allen West, OMG! I would follow him into battle without a weapon. He has run twice, lost then came back and won. He cuts through the LSM BS but no national organization and I fear him saying the wrong thing after the “news” pounds him with the same stupid question 20 times in different ways to catch him in a ‘gotcha’ moment.
Trump, my least favorite he is similar to Perot in the aspect that “he’s gonna fix the problem”. Please define fix for me… But he doesn’t put up with BS and he will call people on it in a NY minute.
And there are a bunch of others who would be great Presidents..
The Tea Party can provide boots on the ground in days, The campaign managers will have to be comfortable with them and give them real and valuable jobs, and that can be a problem.
One other though I will leave you all with to ponder. John McCain would be president with a shift of about 200,000 votes.

Obama was not elected so much because he is black, but because the empty heads that voted think that he is “COOL”….that is a difficult concept to stomach, but in fact, the young and ignorant just wanna have a fun guy that LOOKS like he is in charge and talks a good came, but can shoot hoops and bring the hollywood entertainers out to support him. He is NOT elected on solid rational governance credentials…He HAS NONE. But all the lefties think that the man is SO COOL. That is why CAIN has a misconception that being BLACK is the big draw. Cain is INFINITELY more qualified, and would be if he were PURPLE….but the simple minded voters that came out because of the internet, ACORN, and Unions, the MEDIA, and twitter banter just wanted an irresponsible NON-BUSH….if Bill Clinton could have run again….he would have been elected. Obama is a flash in the pan….but that is the politics of getting elected.

I would have thought that Barak The Magnificent accomplished two things for “Real black men:” First, he managed to be the first “person of color” at the top; and Second, he set the bar so damned low that all men and women of color should feel totally comfortable running for that office.

Hey, if HE can do it…

I expect to see Nikki Haley run for the office some day. What a great step up for “people of color.” Maybe by then the stupid notion of “color” will be ground into the dust, along with “global warming,” padded-bras-for-seven-year-olds and other moronic notions from idle minds.

    • K~Bob

And BTW, Herman Cain is A-OK with me. I’d vote for Herman before I’d vote for Donald Trump.

  • Slowtraincoming

Love Herman Cain, but my intuition tells me he can’t win. I think O is more slick and charismatic (to many, not me, actually). The black demographic will brand Cain a “Tom” and that will be that, despicable as that is. This is because he has stepped outside “the group”, “the collective”, where your individualism is surrendered to the needs of the voting block. It is the group that defines your identity in liberalism. Woe unto those who depart. They are heretics and, therefore, fair game for the most racist of smears. Witness Judge Thomas, Condaleeza Rice, Colin Powell (in earlier years). It’s the same old story, same old play book. That’s why in these forums I’m (partly as devil’s advocate) touting Trump. The point is, until we have a candidate that can master the media, and have a resonant message, the conservative movement is in a bit of jam. We NEED a very strong candidate or we’ll be retreading the “Dole” and “McCain” paths of yesteryear, even WITH legitimate conservatives. It’s not enough to pass the policy litmus test. We have to win, too. So, how do we do that without losing our souls? I think we wait as long as possible and hope for the best qualified and winnable person to emerge.

Virtually all blacks will vote for Obama (sounds racist to me), Most government workers who are afraid of a President acting like the Wisconsin governor, academicians, and various socialists and collectivists. This probably adds up to 35 percent of the electorate. A strong candidate who can communicate well and define the contest properly can beat him by 5 or more percentage points. Unfortunately, the Governor of New Jersey has taken himself out of the race. I believe he has the ability to dethrone Obama. As history has taught us, a candidate will emerge in the next several months. Possibly, one we never expected.

After seeing Maafa21, I was shocked and saddened to see that abortion is being used by the global elite to exterminate african americans. As a 23 year-old black christian and patriot woman, I will get pregnant this year as a way of combating the planned genocide and save our race. I shared the video with six of my black girlfriends and we have all agreed to get pregnant and have our babies at the same time. We are also educating and encouraging our sisters to save our race and stop the lynching of black babies! Thank you for your guidance Mr. Cain. Maafa21 can be purchased on Beyond the Tea Party, ProlifeAmerica or infowars.

IMHO, In spite of his accomplishments, Herman Cain CANNOT be allowed to become president for this simple reason, HE IS INVOLVED IN THE FED. The FED, contrary to popular belief, is not a part of ANY government office or branch, they are a cabal of 12 central banks that has been stealing the REAL wealth from America since 1913, when it was established. All family members involved in the FED should be prosecuted, their collective wealth confiscated through fines, and jailed until they reach room temperature.
    Don’t believe me?
Think I’m just another conspiracy nut?
Do a search for the book “the Creature from Jekyll Island”, follow the links and download the free .pdf in which the author, Mr. Griffen, explains in very easy to understand language,
    1. The Federal Reserve is incapable of accomplishing its stated objectives.
    2. It is a cartel operating against the public interest.
    3. It’s the supreme instrument of usury.
    4. It generates our most unfair tax.
    5. It encourages war.
    6. It destabilizes the economy.
    7. It is an instrument of totalitarianism.
I don’t know about you, but if what he says is true, then the people involved in this giant ponzi scheme “got sum splainin” to do.
