I've known about Herman Cain going all the way back to business school in 1992. He's the real deal. He's a true leader with an unbelievable story of success, is extremely articulate, and is a proud, non-apologetic American. I read his website and if anything, he's playing down his resume...not padding it up like that empty suit who's currently in the White House.
Cain is the guy I've been waiting for. The fact that he's black just makes him all the more perfect. He would wipe up the floor with BO in a debate. I can see it now. It would be like a father reprimanding his know-it-all son about the real world. I'd pay money to watch it.
Run Herman RUN!!!
Oh yeah, and Herman Cain is no Ross Perot. He didn't make his millions by sponging off of the federal government's welfare system after suspiciously being awarded the first Medicare payment processing contract without any competitive bidding process. Nope, Cain made his millions in the real world.
If you are aware, then why do you continue to parrot the left's lie that Clinton was impeached for marital infidelity?
I think the topic needs even further clarification-- Clinton was impeached for perjury during a case where he was being accused of sexual harassment by Paula Jones. Establishing him as a philanderer was completely material in the plantiff's case and therefore was allowed by the judge. Instead, Clinton perjured himself in an attempt to deprive the poor woman justice.
You clinton supporters make me sick. He was governor when he did the harrassing...the highest form of abuse of power. What if he had dropped his pants in front of your sister, mom, girlfriend or wife and told her to "kiss it"? Then how would you feel?
I don't care either. Say what ya want about being a free man, but I have gotten used to it, and now I WANT MORE FREEDOM.
I agree with another poster re: Mr. Cain turning his head back and forth to address the audience. Having heard some his radio broadcasts, this speech is delivered in the same way, re: cadence and pace. My use of the term Reaganesque refers to his optimism and inspiration, not the use of 'prompters.
Thanks very much for giving me an excuse to watch this speech again.
Heads up people incase you have not heard - Herman Cain supports the NWO (this may be just a rumor????) fact is he worked at the Federal Reserve (check his bio) and does not think auditing them is worthwhile. He could be right and may waste time and resources just to confirm how crooked they are.
He says what we want to here and since we have not heard anyone speak like a President in quite sometime we're in starvation mode, but have reservations about the Fed Res stuff. He may be valuable as an insider but these are two concerns - please check everything before we support another Oblunder.
Snake oil?? BWahahahhahahahhahahahhahahh. Are you kidding? Do you even have any idea of this man's accomplishments??
The biggest snake oil salesman in the last 100 years is sitting in the white house right now.
A truly powerful speech that speaks to the truth and of the truth is he Presidential ? maybe. Conservatives need a strong candidate for 2012 is Herman Cain it? could very well be. However let us not fall into the game of making a pick based on one speech... I have to admit I have never listened to his radio show but then again most of America probably has not as well. He is someone that if as he says I can agree with more than disagree with would be someone that I could support and look for that 7/10 homerun.... it is good to see that he is out there looking into the possibility of it all just the same and I say good luck to him and will be looking for and listening to more from him ...
Go to youtube and look up more of his speeches. I listened to him when he was on the radio because I live in Atlanta, and I can assure you that this speech is truly a snapshot of who he really is. My favorite is when he talks about finding the solutions to the right problems. Again, go listen to more of his videos and then show your support at his website hermancain.com. So far he is the only Republican with an exploratory committee formed so he needs to see our support before he makes an official run. I will be honest the only thing I don't like about him exploring a potential candidacy is not being able to listen to his show on the radio.

Believe in God.
Believe in Yourself, and
Believe in the greatest Country on Earth.
And this advice from a barefoot slave/sharecropper fresh off the farm/plantation.
THAT, Folks, is what America [was] all about and where we need to get back to.
God Bless you Mr. Cain and God Bless America, my home sweet home.
What kind of America will we leave to our kids and grandkids?
He's the one that comes out of left field and has the ability to beat Obama. Here's to his nomination.
Wonderful. Palin supporters, I like her, but she's a little thin-skinned. The flap with Santorum was unnecessary, distracting and didn't show her in a favorable light. She doesn't have to respond to EVERYTHING. This guy doesn't seem to care who likes or doesn't like him. I am floored. And, why just VP???
- Potential candidates whom I could support:
Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Gary Johnson.
- Potential candidates whom I am indifferent to:
Rick Perry, John Thune, Mitch Daniels, John Bolton, Mike Huckabee, Donald Trump.
- Potential candidates who would make me run for the hills:
Mitt Romney, Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum, Haley Barbour, Sarah Palin.
Ok, just saw Mitch Daniels' speech. FANTASTIC. That guy would make a great leader. Cool, calm, articulate, humorous and has a great record. A modern day James Madison.

I am sitting here in the wee hours of the morning watching this again. A man
with a plan.. just like he had with Godfathers Pizza. Well, he pulled that one out
of the "dumper." and to even mention the "Fair Tax," when no one else will.
I love Divine Intervention....
Bill,
If you're talking about THE "Godfather's" Pizza (mid-west company... I nearly "lived" at the one in York, NE while in college)... BEST PIZZA ON EARTH (for any sort of 'chain' ~ PERNA'S pizza, in Rock Falls, IL. was the schnitz for authentic SICILIAN PIE!!!)
Yessir, I MISS GODFATHER'S!!!
He is the only Republican to announce an exploratory committee. Go to his site hermancain.com and show him your support so he will run. Then go to cafepress.com and buy Herman Cain bumper stickers

a West/Cain or Cain/west ticket? i am impressed by both. truly whomever runs against bambam will be trashed, but either would nullify the race card-which will be pulled again. just by listening to talk in my area.
No teleprompter, no notes. Just sit back and let the awesomeness role over you.
Mr. Cain speaks with wit and good-natured optimism. He's downright (uh-oh) Reaganesque.
Please read this note from HC - then carry on with the ridiculous discussion about teleprompters or no teleprompters. (does it really matter? haven't we learned that talk is cheap?!?!

If Palin runs and wins the nomination, he would be a great VP candidate. I like him a lot.
Best speech thus far I think. Herman Cain definitely has a grasp of what's going on in the country today. And he definitely doesn't care what other people think. As Bachmann said earlier today, whoever wins in 2012 better be willing to be a one term president and I think Cain would do what's necessary to return America to greatness, no matter the cost to his political career.
He's truly the one to watch right now.
Finally thanks posting been waiting for this speech to show up on the internet... It's a good one!!
