A man who was one of the first responders on 9/11, who suffers from cancer because of his actions on 9/11, and who lost a lot of his friends on that day is being told by his homeowner’s association that he cannot fly his 9/11 commemorative flag along with his American flag. He’s being told he can only fly one of them. But he’s not budging and it looks like the homeowner’s association is going to file a law suit:
How heartless do you have to be to tell this man he can’t fly this flag, a man who is dying because he put his life on the line to save our friends and family members? And it’s not even an eyesore.
I hope he stands his ground and fights it. This man is a hero and deserves to fly that flag.
