Yeah, my whole point is there shouldn't be any deal at all, except the one where Holder hands over the documents to the judge that were supposedly used as the source of the Deliberative Process Privilege.
They violate the whole process if they swing any other kind of deal and therefore, Issa would have sold out.

The civil case I was talking about was the Congressional one. When Congress voted to find Holder in contempt, there were two charges, the criminal and the civil.
The criminal charge, of course went nowhere, because it was Holder's office that was to prosecute and they naturally chose not to. The civil case however, goes to a circuit court and that's where the so-called "Executive Privilege" documents were supposed to be revealed to the judge to see if they were actually allowed to use them.

Yeah well we'll have to see what "deal" they make. I think it has quietly slipped under the rug and the Terry and Zapata families are on their own with their separate civil cases.
If they are still actually continuing the case (and not just bloviating), the civil case demands that Holder give up the documents that they declare under "Executive Privilege" so the court can decide for themselves whether they can or not.
The criminal case, of course, is done. Issa should have submitted the case to civil court and the "dealing" with Holder would have nothing to do with it. Definitely sounds like we're being taken again.

When Obama said he didn't think there was a spending problem it made a lot of heallines and a lot of conversations about how out of touch he must be if he believes that. He is not ignorant to the economic problems he just views them differently.
The real problem lies in not in what he said but what he didn't say. While he was saying there is no spending problem what he meant was that there was a taxing problem, that there needs to be more taxes collected so that there can be more spending done. This ia what he truly believes is at the root of our problems.
My answer to Maobama is this,"Write a fukcing budget to show me how that money will be spent in advance and THEN we can discuss raising taxes. No budget, DH, no more money."

Yeah, well continuing resolutions are truly as legal as the senate not passing a budget. It may takes bullets to fix our federal government. There are repercussions to violating the law and since no one else is enforcing them, It's time for state militias to take over.

The main problem is entitlements. Nothing has been done to address the problem. The longer we wait, the harder it will be. This problem has absolutely nothing to do with race. The repercussions will hurt all of our children, regardless of race. It has to do with living within our means.
Obama won the election, so he raised taxes on the "wealthy". Fair enough, but it really didn't go very far in solving the problem. $650 billion over 10 years pales in the face of annual deficits in the neighborhood of $1.3 trillion.
