I have seen a couple of stories on these “vans”, first off they aren’t exactly a van, they are closer to the size of a 1.5-2 ton truck and you won’t mistake one for the local ice cream truck. Some are being used in Iraq and Afghanistan others by the Border Patrol as well as by DHS at ports to examine shipping containers. Is their a possibility of these units being misused? Well yes,like almost anything there is a potential for that happening. National Geographic has a mini series titled “Border Wars” and in a segment in the first episode, they show one of these “portable” units being used to x-ray trucks crossing the border. Yeah but van sounds more scary,makes for better radio.I think I’ve seen them in my last tour in Iraq,but I could be wrong.I know we never got anything as highspeed as that,though they would’ve been extremly helpful.Maybe these “vans” will become the new water fluoridation conspiracy.All I know is the gubment better keep their hands off my precious bodily fluids.

Gun control. Is anyone really wondering why or for what these vans are or can be used? Easiest and fastest way to know where to go if gun ban is put into effect. It’s said the reason our country hasn’t been invaded is because our citizens are armed and the enemy doesn’t know who has them
To quote former president of SEIU and communist manifesto fan, Andy Stern, “We took names. We watched how they voted. We know where they live.” This is just more of the same line of thinking.
So much for privacy. The gov’ts had this ability for quite some time. Add to it the satellite ability to read the name on a cigarette and cameras on nearly every corner. Gps car tracking, cellphone tracking, internet tracking all without warrants.
It all depends on who is in control of the gov’t tell who gets to say how it’s all used. For now, we people are the ones voting and must remember: Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
