Unbelievable what these goons have done. Will they ever take resposibility? These idiots can't even think past that their families will also get nailed. I believe that The only possible jsutice, if true, is that Pelosi said in her speech on the House floor that Legislators will now have to be part of this system. I have not seen anyone comment on that. Does anyone know if that is true?
- Tyler
That's NOT TRUE. They're EXEMPT from it and get to KEEP THEIR awesome healthcare. Though the Congressmen who were doctors that voted on this thing in MY opinion should be FORCED BACK INTO the medical profession and have to WORK in the BS system they've just created. Now THAT would be some justice…at least for THOSE individuals.
As far as this Mattera kid…just to show how NEW I am to really paying attention to the issues…I've never heard of this kid before. I went to YouTube and went to his username “jasonmattera” and this stuff is JUST AWESOME. Yall should look it up, if you haven't already.
I'm NOT too sure that young people will ever be turned towards CONSERVATISM the way he and others would like, but I DO believe young people when EDUCATED would at least become Libertarian INSTEAD OF COMMIE-LOVERS.

These clips are pretty bad. He's really not “catching them” on anything. He doesn't let any of them actually respond. Al Franken was clearly frustrated with the phrasing of the original question, saying “Congress provided $7 billion to fund jungle gyms.” Yeah, there's no mention of jungle gyms in the bill… And then what he claims is in the bill and reads out loud, I can't even find. Closest thing I could find is in section 399W….
‘‘(b) GRANTS.—The Secretary shall award grants to, or enter into contracts with, eligible entities—
1 ‘‘(1) to plan evidence-based programs for the
2 prevention of overweight and obesity among children
3 and their families through improved nutrition and
4 increased physical activity; That sounds awful, doesn't it?
He has a point that a lot of voters were naive when they chose Obama if they thought he'd change politics. He also has a point that government spending is out of control and wasteful, but these clips are misleading and stupid.

Did you drink enough kool-aid there jd? The ENTIRE point is, who the hell is government to decide on what we as human beings have a right to eat or do with our lives/money? You may like mom and dad telling you what you can and cant do, but most of us want to choose for ourselves what we want to do. But, since you have the time to read the bill, maybe shed some light to us lowly peasants down here and explain the list found outlining what is in the bill, for those of us who dont speak legalese.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/230045…
So, to your last point, yes, it is AWFUL what is in this bill, and NO ONE WANTED IT, and Stewart Smalley and the rest of the lib revolutionaries, ARE trying to change this country into something it was NEVER intended on becoming. Isn't what the libs have said MORE misleading, in the fact that they are trying to force things on the majority, that ONLY the minority wanted? Isn't LYING about what is in the bill misleading? How about the convoluted speak in the bill that doesn't ban illegals from the health care, but leaves it open to them, just as misleading? I think what you missed was he was saying that jungle-gyms are a form of forced exercise for those “chubby” kids. Maybe they dont want these gyms, but they are funded in a HEALTH CARE BILL, which was to be INSURANCE not government mandated exercise(preventive care, I know). But, since you are blind to the misleading speak, and like the kool-aid, I guess I am wasting my time typing……..
- jd73
Who's drinking the kool-aid here? At least I quote the actual legislation. You point to a website that makes a whole lot of claims, and I can't seem to find any of the language in the legislation to back them up.
Let's take this one, as an example…
“Page 95: The Government will pay ACORN and Americorps to sign up individuals for Government-run Health Care plan. “
Can you point me to where that's stated in the bill? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but I can't find it. It's just like the guy in the video. Making up stuff that isn't in there.
I like how a common complaint from those opposing health care reform is that the bill is “too long.” Really? If you cared half as much as you make it seem like you do, maybe you'd set some time aside to actually read it. Or you could keep on drinking that kool-aid I guess.

ok, page 133 of the 2409 pg version, sub sec c, reads this:
13 (C) include within health insurance plan
14 networks those essential community providers,
15 where available, that serve predominately low-in
16 come, medically-underserved individualsto most of us, the words “essential community provides”, and the wording “that serve predominately low-income”, serve as special wording by congress that mean groups like acorn and americorps, so, i found one spot, do i need to continue?
- jd73
No, you don't need to continue. You prove my point that the right is purposefully changing the language of the bill to mislead people. Thank you.

Here is something to think about. I hear alot of folks touting the “European” model of healthcare, there is an item in that policy that is always overlooked. The Europeans do not pay for a major portion of their own defense, the United States does via NATO. What do you suppose would happen if we pulled out of NATO recalled our forces stationed there and left them to deal with thier own defense? Odds are they would see a major increase in already high taxes or an increase in what they pay out of pocket, in reality probably both. At that point I believe we would see a total collapse of the EU, wouldn't that drive home the point of the unsustainability of government run healthcare? And Yes it does the heart good to see these young people coming up in defense of the constitution and our republic against these socialist usurpers.
- KeninMontana
Just another quick thought. Aside from what is or is not in this law (I'm still reading it) the sustainabilty economically is a disaster in the making. No one in their right mind can believe this will be anything other than that. With taxing the 1.68% that make over 200 K (according to US Census records) and then laying on tax increases on pharmacuetical and medical technology manufacturers, just what do you suppose these individuals and corporations are going to do? One possible outcome is that they will take it overseas, then where is the money going to come from?

It isnt twisting words, it is called reading into the twisted words of libs, and they do twist their crap to sound like something it isnt.Congress intentionally does things to get you to believe they arent doing something. Lets take illegals not getting this health care, to prove your lib buddies lie, here is the wording from pg 438 which reads:
13 (2) Section 605 of CHIPRA is amended by strik
14 ing ‘‘legal residents’’ and insert ‘‘lawfully residing in
15 the United States’’.What does that mean? Well, twisted as it may be, but that sounds like it leaves it open to anyone “lawfully” residing in our country. Not sure what “lawfully residing” is to mean, other than, those who have a green card(NOT LEGAL CITIZENS) can get the health care too. So, I thought ILLEGALS(lawfully residing or not) werent going to get this? Guess that is too much twisted language for ya, but, lets remember who wrote this garbage, a WHOLE slew of libs……….what a shock it has twisted language in it.
- jd73
So… you think someone that has a Green Card is an “illegal?” Really? I think you need to take spend some time reading some legal documents other than the Health Care bill. You seem a bit confused.
- http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/2A6HIPLFALQCHLNVDFOHJ5TZAM Barton
a green card doesnt make you a citizen of the U.S., maybe you need to read yourself a bit of law, it ONLY makes them legal to WORK in the U.S.
- jd73
Yes, they are not citizens… but they are not “illegals.” A Green Card holder is in the United States legally, thus they cannot be called an “illegal.” At least not by a rational person.
You make it sound like Obama's plan is providing health care coverage to people that sneak over the border. Again, misleading.
- http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/2A6HIPLFALQCHLNVDFOHJ5TZAM Barton
what i am trying to get you to see, but are a blind obama-zombie about, is that Congress INTENTIONALLY took the words legal resident out, and entered the words lawful resident, which, is and of itself, a way to sneak around the residents of the U.S. Therefore, green card holders, who are allowed to work here, and live here, are covered, and are not limited to U.S. citizens. Which leads to the sanctuary cities, who, by all accounts, lawfully allow border jumpers to live in their cities, who, by all meaning, are lawful residents. So, using the twisted convoluted wording of Congress, they have added illegal aliens to the list of those who are allowed health care under this law. You have completely tried to make this bill sound wonderful, and it is horrible, and, we are NOT Canada, England, or any other Socialized nation. We dont need the benevolent Congress to grant anyone health care, as anyone can readily get it, as for insurance, that is based on your health, and odds of you getting sick. This means that what they just did, is just what Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., chairman of the influential Finance Committee, said “Too often, much of late, the last couple three years, the mal-distribution of income in American is gone up way too much, the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy and the middle income class is left behind,” he said. “Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America.” To me, that sounds like redistribution of wealth, and not much to do with health care at all.

The clips are only part of the videos anyway. With the Grayson clip, he shows the Native American child molester rehabilitation funding clearly in the FULL clip. These were just pieced together for the Hannity show.

The same thing that happens EVERYTIME the top of the economic food chain gets taxed or forced to spend more capital for social programs and regulations Kenin, they pass it on to their consumers. Businesses will simply charge more for products and services so everyone that uses them will pay the new increased tax and those that can't pass it on will contract their spending. The overall effect is the same, less money circulating through the economy leading to less incentive to invest leading to fewer jobs and in this case prolonging and deepening the recession we're already experiencing. The Senate “Fix It” bill contributed to this effect even more by adding to the investment tax making investors even less likely to invest in the United States, so just a month after promising the American people to focus on jobs and get people back to work, Obama has once again lied to us and done the exact opposite of what he's promised and the liberal media and Obama adherents are praising him for it. By 2020 the United States will owe 90% of it GDP in debt thanks to the projected $10 TRILLION deficit spending proposed by Obama over the next ten years. To give you a little perspective that's like owing your yearly salary on a credit card. Does anyone out there NOT see a problem with this? Especially considering who holds most of our debt…

“These clips are pretty bad. He's really not “catching them” on anything. He doesn't let any of them actually respond. “
That's why this site is called “The right scoop” because you'll never get the FULL scoop.
- coconawty
actually here is the link to the bill. there is a link to read what the bill states. http://mediamatters.org/research/201003290051 I don't know what Mattera was talking about or does he understand what the bill says?
Mattera confronts Al Franken, Alan Grayson, and Stenny Hoyer and they don’t have a clue what is in the bill. And he is right: this is why Americans are extremely angry with Congress! They just do what their dear leader says, kicking the leg up high as they follow him.
Buy Jason’s book. Seriously.
