I normally stay far away from Bill Maher, not because I only find his commentary detestable, but I think he’s provocative for the media attention. But it did catch my attention that Pastor Robert Jeffress was on his show this weekend so I watched the segment at Mediaite. One of the interesting comments he made was that the Left had been pretty nice to him in the wake of his ‘Mormonism is a cult’ comments, but rather it was the conservatives who’ve gone after him with a meat cleaver. That doesn’t necessarily surprise me because the Left simply wants to use this story to divide the Right in any way they can.
