Just imagine if all felonies in Washington D.C were prosecuted. There would about 490 to 500 empty seats to fill with Constitution believing people. Regardless of party!
Remember this is a federal prosecution. This was done to stick the knife in ole Jessie ,Sr through his son because of what he said during an open mike incidence about his not being able to stand Obama and that he wanted to cut off what was hanging between Obama's legs. Obama couldn't get Jessie, Sr so he came after the crook Jessie, Jr. This was payback in my opinion because Obama is that Mafia type of person.
Every politician who cheats the government and uses taxpayer money for their personal lives should be thrown in jail. I hope Jackson serves a long term and no parole for good behavior. This Jackson family doesn't know what "good behavior" really means.
Jessie Jackson Jr. is a product of his environment. First his father, then the democrat political machine in Chicago, is it any wonder that he is a crook and a stupid one.

He won't spend a year in jail and when does Sharpton serve his time? MSNBC/NBC is a total disgrace! You can throw in the rest of CONS(Communist Obama News Service) into that disgraceful category.
I would be shocked if he actually received jail time. He will get a mere slap on the wrist and praised for being a black man who is being oppressed by republicans.
Let's face it, folks. Jesse Jackson is just setting himself up to run for Governor. After all, this is Illinois and one of the prerequisites is to have a criminal record. How else could all the felons and dead people vote for them?
Slimy Jackson family, it they aren't holding business's up with fake racial issues they cut right to the chase and steal the money. He will be stealing women's purses if he gets off on probation.
He will NOT go to prison. That would have the race card flying out of the hand of every Democrat from here to Timbuktu.
Well if Jr.s Dem. badge of honor wasn't secured before, it is now...especially if does some jail time; but I doubt that with the insane thing going for him.
Senior will be able to spin it so that it was an old, rich, white, male Republican that set-up Junior and forced him out of Congress because Junior was so effective at helping the downtrodden and we all know that Republicans hate poor people. (sarc)

Shaking my head. Clinton stays in office after multiple complaints of rape and sexual misconduct. He has sex with an intern and survives. And there are several other examples. But man, if a Republican steals from campaign donors, messes around with women (or men) or leaves the toilet seat up... that's front page news.
Jesse Jackson Jr. is a criminal... and he got a piece of what he deserved.
Plus, He walked away from Congress with pension, where he got about 85% of his pay and the disability package. If he is convicted, will he lose it all?

I hate to disappoint Scoop, but Jackson Jr. is not going to jail for five years. There is no way he would have signed the plea deal in that case. Sadly, I bet he gets straight probation or a combination of "house arrest" and probation.
This guy got over 70% of the vote in his district.What does that tell you about the people in his district?Pathetic low information voters or just voting because of his skin color?
